USA menu is here 🇺🇸 Final stop on this journey so let’s go out on a bang 🎉
“But Hannah, you usually give us a pic of every dish” I hear you cry. You are right, I do, but I also don’t usually make 100+ tacos in a week so my photography sessions sort of went out the window. whatcha gonna do? 🤷🏻‍♀️
HOWEVER this menu has been road tested to death and at the last supper club went down an absolute storm. Scroll to the end to see how happy you will be once you have consumed it all (sorry Mol).

~ deep fried pickles & aaaaaall the dips

~ 12 hour slow cooked beef short ribs OR mac & cheese (v) / jalapeño cornbread / slaw
~ peanut butter pie (yes... that pie )

Couple of points to note on this one guys, 1 - You will need to fry your pickles at home, I’ve been practicing all week to work out how to deliver and keep them crispy and delicious and it ain’t happening. It’s super easy, I promise, you just need a saucepan and a litre of veg oil or a deep fat fryer. The rest is the usual deal, reheat & inhale.
2 - deliveries / collections FRIDAY ONLY this week as I’m off to support my GAWGOUS pal at his supper club 😍

It’s the one you’ve been waiting for... let’s go to MEXICO 💃🏻💃🏻
You may or may not know that I have a mild (severe) taco obsession. They were my audition plate and signature dish on the old I consumed about 2.4million during my month in Mexico. They’re just fu***ng great and now they’re coming to you. Don’t say I don’t treat you.
You know the drill by now, orders in by midday Weds, delivery / collection Thurs & Friday - collection FOC, 5 miles within IP33 £5, 10 miles £10.

🌮 tacos al pastor with aaaaaaaall the trimmings

This weeks menu is inspired by one of my favourite places in the world - The Caribbean 🏝
With dishes politely pinched from my Jamaican Gran, my Bajan extended family and a couple of cooking lessons on the coast of Belize and Guatemala, this is as authentic as it comes. Apart from it’s made by me. But you know what I mean.

Let’s go to Turkey ✈️
This weeks menu takes inspiration from a girls trip that went horribly wrong (anyone seen the Inbetweeners movie?!) BUT it did inspire me to learn how to cook with delicious flavours from the Ottoman. We’re talking punchy sumac, fragrant rose and juicy pomegranates to name but a few. Cannot wait to feed you all! 🇹🇷
* Baba(ganoush) & Pide (Turkish bread)
* Pomegranate, artichoke, corn & Freekeh salad
* Hunkar Begendi (ox cheek stew on a bed of aubergine puree)
OR
* Biber roast cauliflower steak, parsley & pistachio salad, sumac dressing (V)

Everything comes with super simple reheating instructions (only needed for the main) & easy to follow plating videos.

Here it is - my inspiration dish... 𝗔𝗻 𝗢𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝗴 🐽

This was the dish I most wanted to cook on the show, the one I was most upset I didn’t get to present to &
I think everyone who wants to go on the show knows the ‘inspiration dish’ is going to crop up at some point in the competition and always thinks about it. I spent 10 years thinking about this dish 🙈

So... My dish is for my dog Pig, the most important thing in the world to me ♥️
I got him 14 years ago, just as I was diagnosed with CFS which consequently led to depression & anxiety.
He was my reason to get out of bed every morning.
He was a rescue & had some behavioural issues (kept attacking my Grandma - awks) we worked through everything together. He was & still is my best friend (although he bloody reeks now - so it’s hard to get as close for those cuddles🤢)
He came everywhere with me - witnessed break ups, redundancies, illness - the darkest of times and the happiest of times.
I wanted to cook a dish in honour of him.
His favourite dinner in the world is minced chicken, grated carrots, peas, brown rice and marmite. In an attempt to chef it up a bit and not give the judges an actual dogs dinner we have...
~ Chicken breast poached in tarragon & roasted on the crown
~ Puffed brown rice crumb
~ Pea purée ~ Fresh peas
~ Carrot crisps
~ Charred heritage carrots
~ roast potatoes ~ Crispy chicken skin ~Chicken, mustard & sauce finished with tarragon oil - served in a classy mug because I don’t have fancy mini jugs in my kitchen.
He’s now 16 - deaf / blind / Alzheimer’s and tumour ridden but he’s happy and still bloody loves a chicken dinner!
