🥚 Elevating the Indulgence this Saturday! 🍒

I'm are back at the Burwash Farmers Market this Saturday, 6th June, from 9:00 AM, and will be bringing a massive upgrade to your favourite treats.

While I'll have all your usual indulgent favourites on the table, including the new kid on the block, Sour Cherry Brownies 🍒—the big news this month is all about what’s inside them.

I'm officially lifting my game and embracing local provenance by switching to Free Range Pasture-Fed Eggs from our brilliant friends at Little Farmers! 🌾🐓

Every single brownie will be baked using eggs from hens that are genuinely free to roam the pastures as they please. The whole operation is run by Anna, Max, Esme and Grace ... though we understand the real boss is Kitty, the Head Hen.

Fun Fact: Kitty actually thinks she's a cat. She spends her days "supervising" the actual farm cats to make sure everyone is pulling their weight! 🐱🐔

I love supporting our community, and I just know you’ll taste the difference that incredible, local ingredients make.

Come down, stock up on your weekend treats, and make sure you also stop by and say hello to Anna and Max on the Little Farmers stand while you're there!

🚨 Wadhurst Market Update 🚨

I’m so sorry to share that I won’t be popping up in Wadhurst this coming Saturday.

It’s a mix of two things this weekend. Firstly, the upcoming heat! As much as I love a sunny day, it plays havoc with fragile, indulgent bakes. I refuse to compromise on the quality I strive for, and I simply won’t offer you anything less than absolute perfection.

Secondly, and more importantly, family commitments mean I’m needed elsewhere right now. We have a family member who is a bit less mobile at the moment and needs a helping hand, and as much as I love feeding you all, family has to come first. ❤️

When to find me next:

Saturday 6th June: I will be back and fully stocked at the Burwash Farmers Market!

Wadhurst: I’ll be back towards the end of next month.

This Saturday, we’re celebrating the arrival of May in true festive style. Whether you’re dancing around the maypole or just hunting for the ultimate weekend treat, Guilty Pleasure Bakery has you covered.

I’ll be at the Burwash Farmers Market from 9:00 AM sharp. If last month was anything to go by, the trays will be empty by 10:00 AM! If you have your heart set on a specific indulgence, please send me a DM to reserve yours now.

I’ve spent the week rounding up every single Fluffy Cloud in the area and I'll be baking them into something far more delicious. There won’t be a cloud in the sky because they’ll all be right here at The Commemorative Hall! ☁️✨

Big News! 🥳

I am absolutely chuffed to announce that as of this morning, you can now find Guilty Pleasure Bakery treats over at The Weald Smokery!

If you haven’t already been, they are located just off the Flimwell crossroads. It is the perfect spot to find plenty of wholesome goodies to offset the "Guilt" of a brownie—though, let’s be honest, they have plenty of other indulgent things to keep my brownies company too! 🧀🍷

They are fully stocked with your favourites:

🌰 Macadamia Nut (The crunch)

Go in and say hi to Nona and the team—and maybe tell them I sent you! If they tell you they’ve sold out already, don't believe them... I have a sneaking suspicion they’re hiding a few out the back for themselves! 😉

I'm so incredibly grateful to have the reach of my little brownies extended to yet another fantastic venue. Huge thanks to the team for having confidence in my bakes and for sharing a healthy addiction to all things guilty.

Stop the press. 🗞️

I’ve heard the whispers. People are saying I’ve hit the jackpot and I’m hanging up the apron for a life of yachts and caviar. I’m here to set the record straight: The rumors are partially true!!

I did indeed have a windfall on the lottery this weekend, however, before you start panic-buying every traybake in East Sussex, let me assure you: I am not letting this newfound wealth change me.

Some people win big and lose their way. Not me. Whether it’s rain or shine, good times or bad my commitment to your guilty pleasures remains unshakable. This is a passion project, and I’m staying grounded.

I promise you, I am simply not the kind of man who lets £4.10 go to his head 💅✨

The oven is staying on. The chocolate is staying high-quality, and my millionaire lifestyle will just have to wait.

Wow. Just… wow! 🤯

I am absolutely blown away by the support at the Burwash Farmers Market this morning. To say things moved fast is an understatement—the most popular brownies and all of the clouds were gone within the first hour!

I genuinely hate seeing sad faces when the display starts to look a bit bare, so I have two suggestions for the next market:

Set that alarm clock: You don't have to get up at 3:30 AM (leave that madness to me!), but arriving early definitely helps secure your favorites.

The Pre-Order: If you want a guaranteed fix, just drop me a message a few days before the next market. I’m always happy to put your treats aside so they’re waiting for you.
