Thanks so much to everyone who came to our first Wednesday in spite of the rainy weather. It was really nice to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones . 🙏

We are still learning how much or what to bake, if you have suggestions let us know in the comments.

Today’s menu 🥖🍰
Bread: white, seeded, olive, rye - all sourdough
Savoury: quiche, focaccia, spinach and feta brioche rolls
Sweet/pastry: fruit scones, cinnamon, cardamom, sticky pecan and twice baked buns, croissant, strawberry danish, raspberry cheesecake cruffin, vegan choc and miso cookies and a lemon and elderflower mini bundt

We’ve decided to trial opening an extra day starting with June. This means more bread 🥖 and pastries 🥐 for everyone and we are hoping it will help to balance out the demand on Thursdays and Fridays. At the end of the month we’ll decide if this is sustainable for everyone and we’ll announce here if it will be a permanent change. Hope to see you on the 3rd of June!

🎄Christmas @ Sunrise 🎄

✨ Our Christmas menu is now available to pick up from the shop. Please place your order by the 15th of December. We can not take orders via Instagram or Facebook.

✨ Orders will be available to collect from the bakery on Christmas Eve, 24th December, between 9.30am to 2.00pm. Everyone will have a time slot just like the previous years.

✨ This year we've added a few new bakes like our Hazelnut and Chocolate babka and also a vegan cake from Judit

✨ Mince pies are now available every day until the 23rd of December. Have you tried them yet?

✨ We've set up a little pantry corner with provisions, which are also great stocking fillers/ Christmas gifts. Have a look when you are in next time.

We have two positions coming up in September.

Part time baker:
We are looking for a pastry/cake baker to join our team.
Some experience in laminated pastry and different doughs would be ideal but we are happy to train the right person.
It's a part time position, 3 days a week (24-27 hours/week)
You will be working closely with our team using quality and seasonal ingredients.
Daytime hours, no early mornings or late night shifts.

Part time Front of House :
We are looking for someone to join our team on Saturdays but additional hours might be available.
This is a customer facing role, selling our sourdough bread, pastries and cakes. We are looking for someone confident and attentive with excellent communication skills. Experience in customer service would be ideal but happy to train the right person for our team.

Celebrate Easter with us 🐰🐥

We have a selection of Easter treats available this week :
🌸 Chocolate and hazelnut babka - great to share with family or a nice gift to someone special
🌸 Hot crossed buns freshly baked every morning
🌸 Mini egg brownies if you are looking for something chocolately

All our regular pastries and breads are available too.

We are open as usual this week but we'll be closed next week between the 21st and 27th April.

.. and our Christmas menu is finally here and available to pick up from the shop.
Please place your order by the 16th of December in the shop or if you don't make it send us an email to [email protected]. We can not take orders via Instagram or Facebook.
