Quietly busy behind the scenes lately — still baking, still creating, still experimenting new recipe and still replying to all your lovely cake enquiries 💜

Just a little update from us with this soft vintage-inspired design, finished with delicate lilac wisteria details.

Lately, we’ve been so drawn to the blooming wisterias 🪻around parks and cottage gardens during our walks — especially now as the season slowly comes to an end. There’s something so dreamy and fleeting about them that we wanted to translate into a cake design.

This one was requested as a fresh cream finish, so the piping and details are naturally softer and less sharp compared to buttercream, but we love how it complements the gentle flow of the wisteria vines and pastel vintage touches.

Inside the cake, it’s our signature ube chiffon sponge, layered with homemade taro paste & ube halaya filling for a flavour that’s light, creamy, and comforting.

A cake version may never beat the beauty of real blooming wisterias — but this one came close enough for us ✨

PS: We really couldn’t help ourselves… and ended up bringing home a wisteria plant from the nursery too 🌿

It was Jasper’s birthday — the heart of our operations, from customer service to making sure every order flows smoothly and every cake reaches its home.

Just a small-town baker, spending Easter holidays doing what I love most 💕

This cake was made for a cosy Easter gathering— tonka bean spice carrot cake layers, homemade orange & chocolate caramel,tangy cream cheese filling, and finished with vintage-style piping in soft spring colours 🌸

I always think cakes should feel a little nostalgic… like something you’d remember from childhood, but with your favourite flavours tucked inside.

And yes… topped with rice crispy M&M eggs because Easter wouldn’t be Easter without them 🍫 🐣

Also—be honest… is she a duck or a goose? I’m still undecided 🫣

Seasonality is what makes our fresh flower cakes so special 🌸 Each design is truly one of a kind — shaped by the colours, varieties, and sizes of blooms available at that exact moment in time. It’s a little snapshot of nature, capturing what was in season when your cake was created, and turning it into something beautifully personal.

For this one, we paired those blooms with our much-loved ube (purple yam) flavour 💜 — still going strong and showing no signs of slowing down. That said, with the warmer months approaching, we’ve got a few new flavours in the works… and they might just challenge the top spot 👀✨

This one was made for a sweet engagement — a fresh cream chiffon sponge heart cake filled with mango-passionfruit compote, paired with matching vanilla buttercream cupcakes filled with mixed berries. Every detail piped by hand, every swirl tied together with love.

I’m always so grateful when someone sends me a photo or an idea and trusts me to bring it to life. Seeing a design go from an idea to something that’s shared around a table never gets old for me.

With all the love in the air today, this one felt right to share.

Not just this cake made me feel special — these past couple of days I’ve baked more heart cakes than in a typical week, whether it’s for anniversaries, birthdays, or just moments to celebrate love. And for us today? 👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳Well… our couple’s day out is on hold — we’re saving our little celebration for Lunar New Year next week. That way, I can pour all the love into baking for you all 💕

If the Love Hashira Mitsuri needed a cake, I think this would be the one 🌸💗💚🍡

Soft pinks and greens, vintage piping, and everything kept in fresh cream — which meant toning down the colors and accepting a little less structure.
Still, loved the challenge of bringing fresh cream vintage details to life in a softer way.

Inside is an ube taro chiffon sponge, layered with fresh cream, ube halaya, and taro cream — light, gentle, and full of flavor 🤍

This started as a client’s inspo, but it became one of our favorites.
