My Story
My Passion for baking started off as nothing more than a small hobby, making small size cakes whenever I could purely for family and friends. Over the many years I have done this I have never once become bored of baking, I love and enjoy baking more now than I did when I first started! I am not someone who has spent years going to college learning everything I know, instead my skills are purely self taught!
I always make sure that I use the freshest ingredients when baking because there is nothing better than the taste of a cake, which is made fresh and from scratch! I always love to learn new things both in baking and cake decorating, which is why I always get excited when friends, family and anyone to be honest asks me to make something for them! No matter what flavour the cake is or what the decoration will be, even if I've never done it before....Im always up for the challenge!
I am also very proud that I have the opportunity to make and supply The Ugly Duckling Tearoom, located in Knaresborough, with different cakes and baked goods!
