The Much Needed Appreciation Post

Every time I have a market, my heart gets so full from the incredible support of our community, so today this post felt necessary.

My time management is absolutely the worst and, on top of that, I always want to make sure everything is still warm when it arrives at the stall, so you can get the full experience of proper, fresh home baking.

Today was no different. I was running late for my set-up, and when I finally got to the stall, some of my regular customers were already waiting for me.

Then, one of the sweetest customers, who follows me wherever I sell, actually helped me unload the car. 🥹❤️

And then, a new customer, who had never even bought from me before, helped me carry one of the heaviest tray carrier with the precious cargo inside… CINNAMON BUNS! 😝😂

Honestly… I was speechless.

I was mostly sold out within the first hour, with some items selling out within the first 15 minutes! 😭❤️

It surprises me every single time just how amazing my customers are.

You don't just buy my bakes. You support me, encourage me, recommend me, wait for me when I'm running late, and sometimes even help me unload my car!

This year, things have changed a lot for me and my business.

Since becoming a single mum, this has truly become a one-person show, but I am still so lucky to have an amazing village behind me who are always ready to be there when I need them.

I will keep fighting for this business because every single time I do a market, and get your amazing support, I understand what I have achieved in the past year and a half. I will keep trying my very best to be on time, to keep improving, and most importantly, to keep providing you with the best products and the proper home-baked experience you deserve.

I am doing a one off stall at Kingfisher Barn tomorrow alongside with another 10 stalls, organised by Rachelle who manages Redhill Park Cafe . We all will be there from 11am until 3pm.

Our Family Fun Day is this Sunday! 🤩

The current forecast shows a 20% chance of rain in the morning, with sunny intervals and some cloud expected throughout the rest of the day. We would advise checking the weather again before you leave and remembering to bring sun cream and hats. 🌦️

There will be a First Aid Tent located on the field, and a member of our team will be on hand to help if needed, so please keep an eye out for its location when you arrive. 🚫

We will also have plenty of marshals, security staff, and local police officers attending throughout the day. Their presence is there to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.
If you see anything that doesn't look right or have any concerns at all, please don't hesitate to speak to a member of our team. We're here to help and want everyone to have a fantastic day. 👮‍♀️

A reminder that our paddling pool will be open. All children wishing to use the pool must wear appropriate swimwear and a swim nappy where required. 🩳

We have lots of fantastic vendors on site serving delicious food, and our Lookout Bar will be offering a selection of tasty dishes, ice creams, and refreshments throughout the day. There will also be live music to enjoy, creating a fun atmosphere for the whole family. 🎶

Why not bring a picnic blanket and make the most of the day with some al fresco dining while you relax and enjoy the entertainment? 🍔
