Available in 2 different flavours, this four layer 4" cake is taller than our standard 4" cakes, offering more cake and servings (did someone say cake for tea time AND dessert?! 😍)πŸ’•

I wanted to create something fit for a Queen πŸ‘Έ so went with a Beauty & The Beast inspired design.

The initial request for this cake was something very, very different. F wanted a mini 4" cake for her boyfriend's birthday, and sent a fondant shooting target cake as inspiration.

The target cake design was quite different to my usual elegant buttercream style, but she told me she was having trouble finding inspiration photos that were less 'girly', and that she was open to ideas. F had a look through my Instagram profile for more ideas, and asked if I could do something with black and navy.

When I saw her request this, I immediately sent her two designs that I thought would look perfect in navy - this art deco design was one of them. How suave does this cake look with the standout gold against the dusky navy?!

F loved the outcome of this, and told me the cake was very cute and pretty ❀️ So happy we managed to make you what you wanted! 😊

When Andy turned 60 (pre-covid), he threw a big party with all of his friends and family. That year, we decided on a tall 8 inch chocolate cake covered with gold-painted fruits, macarons, and a golden chocolate drip.

This year, he decided on a quieter birthday with only his closest family. With a smaller canvas and complete creative freedom, I decided to honour his Chinese culture and add a sense of playfulness - the Pig represents Andy's Chinese zodiac sign, and YES the candle in the tiny cake can be lit!

✨ Vanilla genoise sponge filled with Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries, covered with our classic Swiss Meringue Buttercream ✨

Unfortunately this was the best photo I got πŸ˜…
Can't wait for those long Summer days to come! πŸ™ˆ
