Baker’s Nightmare Part 2
Ovens red hot. Bread waiting impatiently to jump in. Pastries bursting and ready to be baked.
But the baker was nowhere to be seen…
Instead, he was tucked away comfortably in bed, enjoying a much-needed beauty sleep after last night’s bake 😴
Long story short… the alarm didn’t go off.
Sadly, this means we won’t be making it to Rufford Abbey today. By the time we realised what had happened, there simply wasn’t enough time to get everything baked and ready to make the trip worthwhile for visitors or for us.
Apologies to anyone who was planning to visit Rufford specifically for our products, and apologies to the organisers as well.
We started baking straight away and, despite not going to Rufford, we fully intend to have the Farm Stand up and running today.
The good news is that we’ll have a surplus of products, so there’s a very good chance the Farm Stand will stay stocked throughout the day. If you’ve been thinking about making a trip to try our products, today might be a particularly good day to do it 🙂
Some products may appear later than usual, as we’re currently around 4.5 hours behind our baking schedule.
We’ll post updates throughout the day.
For now… back to baking.
