40 & extra in every way āœØ

I couldnā€™t let my own milestone pass without creating something a little bit specialā€¦ so here she is ā€” my 40th birthday cake šŸ’•

Covered in hundreds of delicate wafer paper strips and topped with 40 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (because why not! šŸ˜), this cake was all about texture, indulgence and celebrating properly.

Inside is just as dreamy:
āœØ Vanilla & chocolate sponge
āœØ Russian buttercream
āœØ Crispy hazelnut chocolate layer
āœØ Cherry mousse for that perfect fruity balance

Every layer was designed to be rich, indulgent and completely worth it for a big birthday like this.

Back in the kitchenā€¦ with a little helper nearby šŸ’•

This cake feels extra special because itā€™s the first one Iā€™ve made since welcoming my baby girl into the world. Life looks a little different these days (and a lot more beautiful), but it felt so lovely to be back doing something I love.

This one was for a very special person my good friendā€™s 40th birthday! Creating a surprise cake to celebrate such a big milestone made my first bake back even more meaningful.

Thank you to my amazing friends and clients for being so patient while Iā€™ve been in my newborn bubble. Slowly but surely Iā€™m finding my rhythm again, and Iā€™m excited to share more cakes with you all šŸ¤

This was the cake I created for my baby shower while waiting to meet our little girl. Designing it felt so special knowing she would soon be here.

From planning the details to celebrating with family and friends, it was such a beautiful day filled with excitement, love, and lots of cake of course! šŸŽ‚

Now that sheā€™s here, it makes this cake even more meaningful looking back.

A little life update šŸ’•

You may have noticed things have been quiet here for a while. I took some time away from baking to focus on something very specialā€¦ growing my little baby! šŸ¤

After months of pregnancy, welcoming my beautiful baby girl, and soaking up those precious newborn moments, Iā€™m slowly finding my way back into the kitchen again.

Baking has always been my creative outlet and my passion, so Iā€™m excited to start sharing cakes with you again including a few very special ones I made for my own celebrations.

First upā€¦ the cake that revealed the sweetest surprise of all šŸŽ€
