Hello lovely followers, we are in the top 10 of County Durham's Best Bakeries again! This is purely down to being nominated so a colossal thank you to everyone that has nominated us.

We feel very blessed to have been in the top 10 for 3 or 4 years now, whenever it reaches this stage we haven't asked for votes as you can only vote via paper coupons that are then posted or dropped off at TNE's offices - which let's be real, how many of us are going to do that, have you seen the price of stamps these days!?

That said, we've had lots of ticked voting slips dropped off this morning with a request if we would send them in one batch, so we're going to do just that. If you already buy the echo and wish to vote for us, drop off your ticked slip by Thursday 10th September and we'll parcel them all up and send them on ☺️🦔💕

Huge thank you to everyone that visited the stall at Raby Castle, Park and Gardens this bank holiday weekend, we've had a brilliant few days trading and we're so pleased that the weather played nice (mostly!).

🦔 WE’RE HIRING! 🦔

We’re getting VERY busy at The Hedgehog Bakery and are looking for another reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking team member to join our rapidly expanding team!

The role is varied, so no two days are necessarily the same. You’ll need to be happy to get stuck in and have a positive, can-do attitude. Full training will be provided where needed, so don’t worry if you don’t have experience in everything we do.

✨ What we’re looking for:

🦔 Someone friendly, reliable and hardworking
🦔 A positive attitude and willingness to learn
🦔 Someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in
🦔 Good midweek AND weekend availability is essential
🦔 Regular Saturday availability is a must, as Saturdays are our main weekend day
🦔 Applicants must be 16+

Bonus points if you already hold a valid allergen awareness certificate and minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate!
