🌸 Hello lovely people… I’m still here! 🌸

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve popped up on here, so I thought it was about time I stopped hiding! 😂🙈

Life has been BUSY… between working, keeping up with cake orders and completely renovating the garden (which turned into a much bigger job than we ever imagined! 🤦‍♀️🌿), there just haven’t been enough hours in the day. The garden has had me covered in mud and the kitchen/studio has had me covered in buttercream — so basically, I’ve been living my best chaotic life! 😂🧁

I’ve still been busy behind the scenes creating lots of lovely cakes and I’m so grateful to everyone who continues to order, recommend and support For Heavens Cakes. ❤️ It honestly means so much to me.

Can I be the one to ask if we can turn the heat down now? 😅

My studio air conditioning has decided it’s had enough and chose two of my busiest weeks to give up! That has meant some very early 3am starts, just so I can get the studio to a vaguely comfortable temperature before the baking begins.

Thankfully, despite the heat (and the aircon’s dramatic exit), every order has gone out looking just as it should.

Here’s a little look at some of this week’s creations – lots of teacher gifts, alongside anniversary bouquets and a few beautiful thank you bouquets too. Thank you all, as always, for keeping me so busy. It really does mean the world. 🤍

Morning everyone!

As much as I’ve enjoyed the sunshine, I won’t lie — it’s nice to see the temperature calm down a bit. Anything over 30°C and bakers everywhere start having mild panic attacks, even with the air con on full blast! 😂

The good news is that all of this week’s cakes held their nerve and survived the heat intact. Result! 😮‍💨

My teacher gifts are now ready. I’ve put a lot of thought into making them feel a little extra special because our teachers deserve more than just a quick box of chocolates.
