Here's what's on the bench today.
A barncaster, a hobbyists take on a T-Style - I dunno, you decide.
Definitely a Curates Egg this one. In for a full overhaul and upgrade where necessary.
Headstock needs re-gluing
Industrial piece of metal for the pick guard 2.0mm + thick ( I like the look though)
Great frets, good ball ends, nice job.
Did you see the neck? Three pieces, looks like maple & mahogany. How about the scarf joint on to a 5 piece headstock? Wowsers, some effort there.
Strange ferrule arrangements on the back of the tidy, one piece ash body.
Electronics are mixed; CTS, Orange Drop and Oak Grimsby matched with some cheap ceramic pickups.

I have some ideas on this one, nothing too wild. What do you guys think?

Fun in the sun, local beers and ciders. What's not to like!!?

On the bench today - 2014/15 Fender American Deluxe Strat.
In for a set up and cleaning of noisy controls. The LSR roller nut makes it more of a challenge but it is what it is.
Looking at the circuit diagram for this one is interesting with its S1 and blower switch.

On the bench today - a 2014/15 Fender American Deluxe Strat.
In for a set up and clean up some scratchy pots. Pretty straightforward stuff.
I'm not a fan of the roller nut as no adjustments can be made but hey ho.
