Hot takeaway food at Northern Edge this weekend 13th & 14th February will be
Slow braised beef in rich gravy with a cheese and herb suet crust, steamed greens with rarebit sauce OR roast chicken, bacon and spinach pie, creamy herb sauce and sweet potato wedges . We’ve a couple of puds- sticky toffee, toffee sauce, whipped cream, toasted hazelnuts OR lemon meringue roulade. Served between 12&2pm . Warm cheese scones and bacon rolls from 10 am aswell as our usual traybakes ! See you there! Ruth xx

I've had quite a few requests for Afternoon Teas so I'll be doing them on Sunday this week (21st Feb) As I've moved over the border, collection will be from 36 Prince Edward Road between 10&11am

Chocolate and cherry brownie
Carrot and vanilla cupcake
Little lemon and cream meringues

I'll be serving some hot food to takeaway at Northern Edge Coffee this Saturday and Sunday between 12 & 2 pm. Just a couple of options at the moment to see how it goes. This weekend it'll be Beef Chilli loaded with Guacamole, Sour Cream and Tomato Salsa with Basmati Rice and Corn Chips or Roast Chicken Penne Carbonara with Chestnut Mushrooms, Spinach and Parmesan. I'll also have Hot Sticky Toffee Pud, Vanilla Cream and Toasted Hazelnuts. Early birds (from 10 am!) there will be Warm Cheese Scones with Apple Chilli Jam or Crispy Bacon Sandwiches.
