This beautiful celebration cake was made to a customer's request for a “Chocolate fudge cake decorated in yellow and green” – and I absolutely love how the colours pop against the rich chocolate frosting! 🌼✨

Inside are three layers of indulgent chocolate sponge, filled and covered with a smooth, rich chocolate fudge frosting - the perfect treat for any chocolate lover! 😍🍰

This is now the FOURTH time I've been asked to make this design, and I absolutely love creating it every time! 🥰🎂

This one was personalised with a shirt topper for a very special 80th birthday, complete with footballs, gold details, and plenty of Manchester United pride! ❤️💛

🌞🎂 A little cake care reminder in this hot weather!🎂🌞

Gyda'r tymheredd yn codi ar hyn o bryd, roeddwn i eisiau rhannu ychydig o gyngor i helpu cadw'ch cacen yn edrych ac yn blasu ar ei gorau.

Fel arfer, dydw i ddim yn argymell cadw fy nghacennau yn yr oergell, ond yn ystod y cyfnod poeth yma, dyna'r lle gorau iddyn nhw. Cadwch eich cacen yn yr oergell nes tua 30–60 munud cyn ei gweini. Bydd hyn yn rhoi amser iddi ddod yn ôl tuag at dymheredd yr ystafell, tra'n helpu i atal y menyn hufen rhag meddalu neu doddi.

With the temperatures we're enjoying at the moment, I just wanted to share a quick tip to help keep your celebration cake looking and tasting its best!

I don't usually recommend storing my cakes in the fridge, but during this hot spell it's definitely the best place for them. Please keep your cake refrigerated until around 30–60 minutes before you're ready to serve it. This gives it time to come back towards room temperature while helping to prevent the buttercream from becoming too soft or melting.

A few extra tips:
🧁 Keep your cake out of direct sunlight.
🚗 Don't leave it in a warm car for any longer than necessary.
🏡 Store it somewhere cool until it's time to enjoy it.

⚡💙 A Sonic masterpiece heading off to one very special birthday boy! 💙⚡

Roedd yn bleser cael gwneud y gacen Sonic yma ar gyfer pen-blwydd yn 5 oed i un o fy nghwsmeriaid ffyddlon sy'n dychwelyd. Rwy'n hynod ddiolchgar eu bod wedi dewis fi unwaith eto i fod yn rhan o ddathliad mor arbennig. 🥰

I had the pleasure of creating this 5th birthday Sonic cake for one of my lovely returning customers, and I'm so grateful they've chosen me once again to be part of their family's celebrations. 🥰

What a busy weekend! 🧁☕💕

I've been so busy preparing afternoon tea boxes this weekend that I completely forgot to take any photos before they were collected! 📸🤦‍♀️

I'm incredibly grateful for all of your orders and continued support. Keeping busy doing what I love is something I'll never take for granted. Thank you to everyone who chose my little home bakery to be part of your special occasions this weekend. ❤️

Another cake out the door for a lovely returning customer! 💜🤍

It was such a pleasure to create this elegant floral buttercream cake to help celebrate her parents' wedding anniversary. Decorated with beautiful purple and lilac blooms, soft greenery, and a smooth buttercream finish, it was the perfect base for the customer's own personalised cake topper to complete the design.

Made with rich, fudgy brownies, topped with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries, drizzled with milk and white chocolate, and finished with edible gold decorations and a personalised topper, it's the perfect centrepiece for any celebration.
