Since we’re all using a load of hand sanitiser these days, I’m guessing many of us have hands that are suffering. I thought it would be fitting to post a product that is going to relieve dry, cracking hands naturally!
You don’t need a lotion to effectively moisturise the hands. In fact, lotions are full of water, but this balm doesn’t contain even a drop. A balm is a combination of oil-based ingredients that are melted with beeswax to become a solid but pliable product. This balm contains nourishing oils, butters and waxes that will quench your dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth!
This miracle balm can be also used on lips, face, body, hands, cuticles, feet and even babies’ bums. It can be used as a face moisturiser, an eye cream, a scar treatment, after-sun lotion, after shave balm, hair wax or anything else you can think of. Anywhere where skin is dry, chapped, irritated, inflamed or needs extra care. It is mild enough for sensitive skin but strong enough to heal, moisturise and soothe.
It works wonders on skin irritations and redness, burns and wound relief. When we say multi-purpose, we really mean it!

Ingredients:
Beeswax- (Organic)Beeswax is a natural wax produced by the honey bee, which is nourishing, protecting and anti-bacterial, providing good protection against the environment. Our beeswax comes from our very own honeybees!
Mango butter-(Organic)A superb hydrating moisturiser, with skin rejuvenating properties. It is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins B, C, D and E, protects skin from sun damage, tightens skin and is very healing.
Shea butter-(Organic)Shea butter has superb moisturising qualities, alongside healing properties and is used in products for dermatitis, psoriasis, and many other skin conditions. Additionally, due to its vitamin and fatty acid content, it is used in moisturising products to help reduce lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. NB shea butter can become slightly grainy, especially with temperature fluctuations, but this will disappear as you warm the product on your skin. Please do not worry that this adversely impacts the effectiveness of the balm - it does not!
Cocoa butter-(Organic)The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. These substances may improve blood flow to the skin and slow skin aging by protecting against damage from the sun's harmful UV rays.
Coconut oil-(Organic)Coconut oil has traditionally been used as a moisturiser in the South Seas for centuries, due to its intense emollient qualities. It is hugely hydrating and a safe solution for preventing dryness and flaking skin and is also beneficial for sensitive skins and those with psoriasis, eczema etc. It is often used in anti-ageing products as it is believed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Sweet almond oil-(Organic)Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc. It is mild and hypoallergenic. It encompasses a great combination of properties: moisturising, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Sunflower oil-(Organic)Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturising. The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it effective for protecting skin against bacteria and germs.
Soybean oil-(Organic)Soybean oil is rich in vitamin E, a nutrient that can help promote skin health. Applying it topically may protect against inflammation and help the skin retain moisture.
Olive oil-(Organic)Rich in vitamins, including A, D,E and K. Moisturising, antioxidant.
Jojoba oil-(Organic)An easily absorbed, light oil, very similar to the sebum found in our own skin, and so suitable for all skin types, including problem, oily and combination skins.
Vitamin E oil-(Organic)A classic antioxidant, vitamin E is derived from many fruit and vegetables and is known to protect against cell damaging free radicals and with the appearance of stretch marks, lines and wrinkles.
Evening primrose oil-(Organic)
Not only does evening primrose oil moisturise and soothe, it can enhance the texture and elasticity of skin, addressing dryness, irritation, roughness and wrinkles.
Calendula oil-Calendula is one of those British herbs that has been throughout history as a remedy for all sorts of skin aliments and is believed to have restorative and regenerative powers on the skin. Increasingly found in anti-ageing skincare, particularly good for sensitive skin.
Roman Chamomile essential oil-(Organic)
Comprising powerful anti-inflammatory and calming properties, Chamomile Essential Oil is a wonder ingredient to help soothe your complexion. Whether it's rosacea, irritation, acne or any other skin concerns, Chamomile Oil is a great natural remedy to calm your skin.

Notes on Home Care:
The ingredients we use are natural in the real sense of the word. We avoid using emulsifiers, binders, surfactants and preservatives in our products that we consider harsh or unnecessary. However, this means that some of our balms and body butters may and can separate in hot temperatures i.e anything above 24 C*. There is no harm to the product or it's benefits, these ingredients will blend perfectly together with a quick stir of a clean instrument i.e a spoon with no damage to the product itself. Best to store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Our butters and creams are 100% synthetic free and made in small batches. Overall benefits include being nutrient rich, and suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
