It’s Sew Time I have had a love of sewing for a very long time. This is my outlet! It started with bags but now and for rather a long time its jackets.

Market 1 on Saturday is at the Baptist Church in Worle (next to Castle Batch Primary School). This market is a lovely one run by the beautiful Sally Westlake

A few weeks ago a reel came up on my Facebook feed from a group of people from Australia called Reverse Garbage. They post about what you can do with the most weird and wonderful things that were once discarded now made into something amazing. One of the founders Kirsty was wearing a blouse (formally a man’s shirt) she had upcycled using scraps of material made into puff balls or yo- yos as they called them. I think you can see how pretty it is.
Well being someone who has material scraps 🤦🏽‍♀️ and a love of recycling I tried it out.
Meet my Nutmeg age 5-6 scrap busting jacket. Each yo-yo has been hand made and hand sewn on. This will be with me next Saturday at the Fibro market at the Baptist Church in Worle. X

Two amazing markets are on this weekend but unfortunately It’s Sew Time won’t be there. I’m going to a party instead!! 🥳
But can I just say that at both markets are the most incredible makers and humans ever!! Why not pop along and see what they are all about?
Saturday in the Sovereign Centre is the Makers market.
Sunday is Kewstoke Village Monthly market which has Cool Beans and her gorgeous coffee!
