Quiche of the day is red onion jam and feta..... Sweet, sour, sharp and delicious 👌

We also have tomato and basil soup... 🍅

BLT Foccacia..tarragon mayo, smoked streaky Ayrshire bacon, roast tomatoes and lettuce. 🥓

Or smoked Kinrtyre cheddar with mustard mayo, apple slaw with Katy Rodgers creme fraiche dressing and rocket 🧀

My personal seasonal favourite is the fig frangipane! 🍂

Just a reminder that we are CLOSED until next Wednesday!

I was supposed to be in Marbella on a hen do but tragically I became unwell with some flu virus 🤒😭devastated to say the least.

However the girls are there making their presence known already 😜🍸☀️

We are usually closed Tuesday but we are doing prep today and opening tomorrow and Wednesday 🤗

I will be away to Marbella on a hen do form Thursday 🍸☀️

Normal hours will resume next week!

To all of my loyal customers, friends and colleagues past and present,

I have to share the news that after 5 years Stiff Peaks will be leaving it's current premises in Ballachulish next February!

You may have heard the rumours, but I want you to hear it from me.

The 5 year lease will end at the beginning of March 27. Where the hell 5 years went I do not know... 😅

Unfortunately I was faced with a 47% rent increase, after already having had annual increases for the past 3 years. I was not willing to pay above the market value for this property despite anything!

However I negotiated, I fought and I tried to keep my business in the village that I was brought up in.

I am truly sorry to the loss this will bring to a small local community.

Currently I have no plans for what the future of Stiff Peaks will be from February but that does not worry me...it is exciting!! 😬

Change is needed. I've worked relentlessly for 5 years, it has not been easy but it has been rewarding, it has been a success. 🎉

Thanks again to absolutely every single one of you who has helped me on this journey so far! ❤️
