Our design rationale for the Blade was that while NV devices were getting smaller and lighter, the illuminators on the market were getting bigger and heavier! We have solved this issue with the smallest, lightest illuminator that has no handicap on the quality or power of the illumination.

If you have been scammed by a dashcam / doorbell cam seller, pretending to be in the UK, but sending tat from overseas (if it ever turns up). Please, please don't leave your 1 star review on our Trustpilot profile.
We don't, and never have sold dash cams, doorbell cams or naff digital night vision glasses.
Trustpilot (a huge misnomer) aren't in any hurry to remove the incorrect reviews, as it keeps our score lower than it should be, and they seem to think that this will entice us to pay up to £12,000 a year for them to magically 'fix' the score.

It's the small things. Perfect reflowing of the LED to the MCPCB, perfect solder connections and MCPCB cleaned after assembly.
This is on it's way to re-vitalise a customers old NM800 torch to upgrade it to the Black Sun IR LED System.

If you're using the Dark Engine BLADE IR with an add on, you need to make this adjustment for maximum performance from our factory preset for use with dedicated low mag NV.

Nice to see people are listening to our advice. There is no longer the need to put an IR on your NV rifle scope that is almost as big and heavy as the scope itself! That's ancient technology in the IR world.
Mount the tiny Dark Engine BLADE on a low QR mount at 45 degrees and it will sit between the turrets and miss any LRF hump your scope has.
The beam is completely even with no hot centre to white out the image or spill to reflect off your barrell or moderator either.
The only way you will notice the BLADE is on the rifle is by how good the image is and how far you can now see!
It will also have the advantage of improved accuracy as you won't have up to half a kilo of IR on a tall wobbly adjustable mount whipping around under recoil.

Even putting another 50p in the meter won't help our power issue at the moment. Excavation work on the estate has cut the underground power line leaving the office a bit dark and chilly.
Reliably informed we'll be back in full swing on Monday and out of the dark ages.
