I promise I’ve been baking! Just haven’t had the time to post anything 😅
It’s International Corgi Day today and being the owner of one, I just had to make some shortbread biscuits to celebrate the occasion. AND it’s Platinum Jubilee weekend so it’s a double celebration in my eyes 🤷🏼‍♀️🥳😍🐶🍫🍪

I had been asked to make a birthday cake and I was just happy to get to bake a birthday cake again ☺️
I was basically given free reign to do whatever I wanted, all that needed to be included was chocolate and raspberry 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I made an indulgent (gluten-free) and moist chocolate cake, filled it with raspberry compote, rich chocolate buttercream and put some raspberries around the edge of the cake. Then it was topped with the same buttercream and a few more raspberries.
Simple, yet classic 😍🤤🍫🍰🎂

I didn’t take as long of a break this time around! Baking is, and always will be, my first love but at the minute, with a new (ish) job, a puppy, trying to stay healthy, and just life really, baking and my page has been taking more of a backseat and for that I’m sorry. I’ll definitely keep trying to be better at posting 😅

So here we go, for Christmas Day, I decided to make hot cocoa cupcakes with a meringue frosting and I think they came out pretty well! 🍫🧁 and yes, one of the cupcakes has frosting shaped almost like a heart and I thought it was so fitting

I did also make individual trifles but I didn’t quite get a chance to take any photos of them 😅

Hi friends! I’ve been gone for so long, I didn’t realise just how long I hadn’t posted for 😳
I promise I’ve still been baking, it’s just been a lot of the same because who doesn’t love cookies and brownies????

I didn’t realise how long it had been since my last post, jeez 😳
It’s been such a crazy few months, finishing a job I’d had for 5 years, moving into a new house in a whole new area, buying a car, starting my new job… I guess this page and baking took a backseat 😞
But what I made (a little while back) is a batch of gooey (gluten-free) brownies because who doesn’t love brownies???
I definitely need to start upping my game and post more again but it’s difficult! If anyone has any ideas of what I should try next, let me know because I need ideas 😅

Okay wow it really has been a while since I posted 😳 I’m sure like a lot of people, the motivation just hasn’t really been with me and that little thing called life has taken over 😬
But have a cupcake! Or however many you want, no judgement here! 😉😂
What I did here was a batch of salted caramel cupcakes with salted caramel buttercream 😍🤤🧁🍬🍭
What I also did, as a little extra, was fill half of them with smooth, runny caramel and leave the other half 😍🤤🤤
I decorated them in a few different ways: caramel swirls, grated chocolate, fudge pieces and just plain buttercream for some simplicity 😍🧁

Happy Easter (and if you don’t celebrate, happy Monday!)
I know I’ve been quieter recently but I’ve been struggling with what to bake/post that’s up to my incredibly high standards 😬
So I’m back with a 2-in-1! What I’ve made here (and yes, I decided to just go back to being a kid and throw a few random bits onto the cupcakes because I could 🤷🏼‍♀️😅) some Easter cupcakes (chocolate for the cupcakes, vanilla buttercream) and some Mini Egg cookies, both gluten-free because obviously!

Hello again you lovely lot!
I know it’s been a little while since my last post but sometimes life takes over and you find yourself distracted with just about everything.
So what I have here is a soft and rich Black Forest cake (you know it’s gluten free) and I know it’s not exactly the best looking and I really don’t know what happened! I filled it, stacked it and it just started to crack! 😳 but I’m trying to not be too critical and focus on the positives, it still tasted amazing! So much flavour! 😍🤤🍫🍰🎂🍒

Happy Wednesday you lovely lot! I know I’ve been a little quieter recently but I’m back now! 😜
So what I have here is a just a quick and simple gluten-free chocolate crunch bars that you don’t need to bake! Just pop it in the fridge to set and it’s done!
Similar to a rocky road in that sense of you can throw in whatever you want but this has peanut butter (which I’ve never really been a fan of on its own), honey, rice crispy cereal (or any cereal, I used cornflakes and chocolate rice crispies), marshmallows and topped with sea salt. Definitely one I’ll be making again!! 😍🤤🍫🍫🍯🥜

Finally, we potentially have a date to go out, to different places, meet up with friends and family that we haven’t seen...

Finally, we potentially have a date to go out, to different places, meet up with friends and family that we haven’t seen for so long, exciting but nerve wrecking times!! 🥰
So, here’s what you came for: profiteroles! Or choux buns, choux pastry, creams puffs, whatever you would like to call them! 😅 now, we have ones made with regular flour AND ones made gluten free, can you tell which is which? 🤔
However you have them, they are just beautiful!! 😍🤤🍫🍫
