Harvest assembly at St George’s this morning, followed by coffee and biscuits with the school community.

Genuinely my favourite part of being on the Friends committee is getting an invitation to these celebratory events.

It was the new Sky classes first time singing the songs in the church and they did so well- very cute.

The biscuit in the last photo and the baked bean song was a highlight.

Last night’s PTA committee meeting was fuelled by crisps and w**e, and we got a lot done🎄🍷
Sprinkle Of Saffron is booked in for the fayre, Santa is booked in for both events and the shopping lists were made.

Here’s your heads up on what’s coming:

📅 Christmas Light switch-on: Monday evening 16th nov
🎅 Christmas Fayre: Sun 22nd November

We’ll be asking our lovely community for:
🎁 Hamper gifts (any unwanted stocking filler type gifts)
🍾 Bottles (booze, shower gel, anything appreciated!)
🍰 Traybakes for the cake stall

🙋 Volunteers will be desperately needed between 11am-3pm on the 22nd Nov.
We’ll ask nearer the time, but we WILL LOVE any help on the day, from applying glitter face paints to pouring the mulled w**e.

Thank you to for putting up with our noise.🥂

What a fun night 🎬✨ Huge thanks to everyone who made our outdoor movie night such a brilliant success.

Special shout-out to our brilliant PTA team for the food and drink, Mrs Ball for saving the day with her laptop (our rented projector had other ideas!), Mr J for battling with the outdoor lighting, the mums who jumped on the glitter stall when we were drowning in AV chaos, and the dads who heroically battled the wind to keep our screen secure 💪

And a massive thank you to all our amazing tired kids who stayed until 9:30pm helping us tidy up (sort of)🌟

Toy Story 5 was the perfect pick, the snacks were fab, and the disco got everyone moving at the movie interval. The whole community spirit was just wonderful.

Next year’s note to self: MORE PROSECCO and TONGS! 😄

Thanks to every single family and volunteer who came out and supported this fantastic cause.

See you next time🍿💕

☕ Huge thank you to all the parents and the wider community for the incredible cakes you baked and donated for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Massive thanks too to all The BLVIS Friends who stepped up to serve tea and coffee on the day.

Well done to Mrs Ball and the students for organising and picking the charity raffle winners.

Lots of catching up, chat about what’s coming up, and the usual school run chaos as always 😅

Couldn’t make it? No worries, cakes are still up for grabs at pick up, all for donation.

Thank you to everyone who came, baked and donated - BLVIS Friends wouldn’t be the same without you 💚
