Some of these award winning sourdoughs and ciabatta rolls are off to Potarch cafe this morning.. They've got some wonderful new additions to their menu as we come into spring.. 100% worth a trip!
You can catch us at the Aboyne Farmers Market Est. 2024 this Saturday too📍

Yesterday our team took a trip down to Bowhouse to attend the festival of real bread and see how our entries had got on in the Scottish bread championships where our bakery team had carefully prepared and entered sourdough cobs, ciabatta rolls and tin loaves ..

Standing in the crowd as the awards were being read out in alphabetical order our heart sank when there was no mention of Courie Courie.. better luck next time we thought.. then... We only went and won the Supreme Championship!! 🏆

We are so incredibly proud of our whole team and the journey this bread takes to our lovely customers.. flours grown and milled by the wonderful Lapwings community mill then mixed, proofed and baked during the early hours by awesome bakers then taken from our ovens to our shop where our incredible shop team expertly display, slice and bring so much joy to our customers!

Super thanks to Scotland The Bread for keeping on top of organising everything for another year! And The Culinary Kiwi Bird for trekking our entries down!
