What a productive day ! Running a very productive silver clay workshop and a chance to visit their winter exhibition where I was particularly drawn to the work of šŸ„° and šŸ¤©. Always a pleasure to run a workshop here šŸ˜‰. Thank you to all the participants and staff who helped make it such a great dayā€¦should also mention my hubby who helped lug my stuff and set up ā¤ļø.

Todayā€™s walk took me over the half way distance. šŸ¤© Dodgy right ankle holding up ok. Just ordered new insoles for more supportā€¦hope they come soon ! Link for fundraising in my bio. It would be fab to meet my target.

Silver Clay workshops. Session 1 of 5 and we covered the basics to get everyone on the same level and started designing the individual projects. Next week Iā€™ll be demonstrating stone setting and using silver clay paste for leaves and 3D forms. Leaving time for more making ! There are quite a few unique Christmas gifts being planned. šŸ¤©

Day 2 of raising funds for Blood Cancer UK to highlight awareness and research. Iā€™ve added a link to my Justgiving fundraising page in my bio. Any and all donations will be really appreciated. I was undiagnosed (and incorrectly diagnosed) for many years mainly because the symptoms of my particular type of lymphoma come and go šŸ™„.

Two lovely groups at 2 workshops this weekend. One privateā€¦hosted by Jackie for a surprise birthday (thank you šŸ˜˜) and the other at the fantastic .potters.wheel We had fun, laughed lots and worked so hard at times you could hear the silence šŸ¤©. Look out for dates to be added soon for 2027

2 different formats. If you are new to silver clay you can choose a taster workshop Kiddington or a 5 x weekly course Wallingford. If you have dabbled the 5 week course will expand your skills while you work on your own project. More info on the website.
