🎂IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🎂
After 6 amazing years of being a business I have made the decision to stop making cakes.
There are a few reason for this.
One is the constant increase in ingredient, material and energy costs, which leads to me having to increase my prices a lot to keep my business going. This has had an effect on how many orders I get. Not everyone understands good cake isn’t cheap! Just being honest.
But the main reason is due to my family commitments. I have always been a mum first and a cake maker second. My children are always my priority. We are an autism family and I need to support my young son more than making cakes.
I have loved being part of people’s special occasions over the years, it makes me happy knowing I have helped them create special memories.
I have also had the pleasure of making cakes for the most wonderful repeat customers, who have come back to me year after year and trusted me to make epic cakes for their kids.
I will be honouring the orders I have for the rest of this year but will not be taking on anymore orders.
It’s been fun. I love being creative and will miss that part of the job. I’m not saying I will never make cakes again but for now I have to do what’s right for my family and myself.
So it’s not a goodbye, it’s a see ya later.
