Quick reminder our Community Hub breakfast is on Saturday 17th of October- still plenty of spaces available ticket only event see details on our post below.

Back by very popular demand we have been busy baking, using only the best ingredients and our own flaky, short and puff pastry. We have plenty of pasties, Cornish and Cheese & Onion, including fresh steak bakes. We serve these in-house items, with chips and salads or they be taken away as a home treat, they also freeze perfectly. If you prefer to home bake we can also supply pre frozen and uncooked. But be warned they do sell out fast.

Also fresh today our Artisan baker Phil has been busy making Sourdough bread, if you’re thinking sourdough ideas for Casa McMillian, there are loads of possibilities beyond the usual toast.

🎉 THE McMILLIAN COMMUNITY HUB IS LAUNCHING! 🎉

Our very first McMillian Community Hub event takes place on Saturday 17th October, with just over two weeks to go — and we’re delighted to finally announce the format.

🍳 A COMMUNITY BREAKFAST

This is a TICKET-ONLY EVENT, so advance booking is essential.

We’ll be serving a traditional English breakfast, with free tea and coffee available from arrival and throughout the meal. 🍵☕

Breakfast – Large €10.50
2 Sausages • 2 Bacon • Hash Brown • Beans • Fried Egg • Toast

Breakfast – Small €7.50
1 Sausage • 1 Bacon • Hash Brown • Beans • Fried Egg • Toast

Bar purchases are not included and will be charged separately.

⏰ TIMINGS

Arrival: No later than 10:15am
Collective breakfast served: 10:30am

And the good news — weekend parking around McMillian’s is usually a little easier.

🤝 WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

The idea is simple — bringing our community together.

Rather than sitting in separate groups, we’ll all be seated around one large table, giving everyone the opportunity to chat, share experiences, catch up with old friends and, hopefully, make some new ones along the way.

At this first event, we’ll also explain our plans for future Community Hub activities and, most importantly, listen to you.

Your new Casa McMillian Community Hub is about to launch.

At Casa McMillian we want to bring people together, to share common experiences using our new function room, we will hold these events once a month on a Saturday morning, whatever the event a full English breakfast will be served at 1030, this is not a cafe selection service, but a collective sit down together to chat catching up with friends and maybe making new ones, we welcome all nationalities.

Our ideas, are timed for roughly 1 hour 15 minutes of activity followed by an all ticket breakfast. We think this is a great way to start your weekend. For the future we want to develop events that are unique and something special.

Tutorial’s - Tricks and how to use Facebook and other platforms.

Individuals sharing local information with group led discussions to help others

NEW from Casa McMillian.

Firstly a reminder of our new opening hours

Monday- Friday 0900 - 1700
Sat - Sun Closed

Secondly:

For the convenience of our customers, we are now stocking Lobster SIM cards.

Hopefully, this will save you a trip to the coastal areas just to pick one up.

The attached flyer explains the packages/bundles and services available.

Each SIM card costs 5 euros, fully refunded when you activate, by using the unique identity number on the SIM, simply inform the Lobster representative that you paid for your SIM at McMillians and the refund will be made.

The SIM will activate with a new Spanish number immediately.

If you already have Spanish number, on any account, it can be transferred to your new Lobster account, just ask the helpdesk to conduct the port switch.

If anyone wants information on fibre networks or experiences difficulties with set up they can call Sam on the number below.

We have hosted our first Community event which was informative, myth busting and gave very helpful information on a number of topics, presented by KMI Consultants.

Some key takeaways: the Spanish government is committed to reviewing policy, and pressing ahead with implementation, there are many changes that will affect those wishing to make or have made Spain their home. If you want to know more why not call Ara +34 662 48 69 25. For more details.

We have also agreed with Lobster mobile phone services to sell their mobile SIM cards @ 5 Euro each which is redeemed when you take out one of their many packages. We have agreed this service to help you our customers easier access to Lobster Services.

Many of you have asked about Anita unfortunately she remains on sick leave and we wish her a speedy recovery and swift return, like you we also miss her cheerful smile. Big hugs Anita xx

Breaking News - As well as our Spain Explained Presentation tomorrow 15 September - we are pleased to announce that we will be joined by an Energy advisor Joaquin Cuenca. He will available from 1100 hours to provide information on how to lower your electricity bills.

He is highly recommended and has already advised a few of our customers including Phil and Carol helping achieve much lower monthly bills.

Given that there is a local holiday in Murcia City tomorrow why not join us for a Freebie Tea, Coffee and breakfast bap on us.

WE’RE BACK refreshed, raring to go and we’ve got some exciting updates to share.

New Opening Hours

We’ve listened to your feedback and, with immediate effect, we’re extending our opening hours:

Monday–Friday
9am– now until 5pm

This means you can now enjoy many of your McMillian favourites later into the day, whether you’re stopping in for a proper bite to eat. Grabbing a quick cuppa or cold and refreshing drink.

New Team Member

We’re delighted to welcome Suze to Team McMillian. Suze joins Phil in supporting our catering team. She’s already settling in, We’re sure you’ll all give her a very warm welcome

Expanded Dining Space

We’ve been busy behind the scenes transforming the old shop into a welcoming, extended dining area. Our first private party has already been hosted. More details will be shared about availability, You’ll soon be able to find out how to make use of the new space
