SANTO RUNS WITH HOLA ☕🏃‍♂️

We’re excited to announce our first collaboration with This Saturday, April 25th, join us for a shakeout run ahead of the .

We’ll meet at Hola Coffee Lagasca to fuel up, then head out for an easy run around Retiro. We’ll finish at where fresh bakes will be waiting so we can keep the pre-marathon atmosphere going!

09:30 — Meet at Hola Coffee Lagasca
10:00 — Easy run starts (5–6 km around Retiro)
10:45 — Finish at Santo Bakehouse
Post-run — Coffee & pastries

Plus, during the event and all weekend long, we’ll be serving Hola Coffee across our espresso and filter drinks.

Santo Bakehouse is looking for bakers to join the team full time!

We are hiring for 2 roles.

1. Bread baker - The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in an artisan bakery, with a range of high hydration sourdough breads, managing all processes - starter maintenance, scaling, mixing, pre-shaping and shaping, folding, scoring, loading, baking and more.

2. Junior Pastry baker - The ideal candidate will have some experience working with laminated doughs, a base understanding of fermentation and pastry techniques, and a willingness to learn.

Experience in the aforementioned disciplines is preferable, but beyond that we are looking for someone who really wants to work as part of a small but dynamic team with a focus on quality driven baking.

A good attitude and desire to continuously learn is a non-negotiable. We are looking for someone reliable, responsible and autonomous, who prides themselves on their professionalism, efficiency and organizational skills in the bakery.

EU work permit is essential 🇪🇺

Sunday Funday in Santo!

The sun is shining, the pastries are glowing and after months of madness the construction outside is finally finished!

We’ve got all the classics as well as our weekend specials. Our Choux with caramelised almond frangipane, house made strawberry jam and tonka cream, and our danish with banana muscovado caramel, dark chocolate ganache and cocoa nibs.

We’ve also got all of our classic breads along with our Sunday special - oat, poppy and honey!

Last week at Santo we hosted our friends & - the duo famous for their incredible restaurant ⭐️⭐️ - for a little pop-up in Madrid.

They brought their legendary Truffle Honey Croissant, and it sold out… very fast!

January is coming to a close and it marks a great start to the year 💙

Santo Bakehouse is looking for a baker to join the team full time (40hrs per week over 5 days)!

The ideal candidate will have professional experience in an artisan bakery, with experience in sourdough breads and/or laminated pastry.

Experience in the aforementioned discipline is preferable, but beyond that we are looking for someone who really wants to work as part of a small but dynamic team with a focus on quality driven baking.

A good attitude and desire to continuously learn is a non-negotiable. We are looking for someone reliable, responsible and autonomous, who prides themselves on their professionalism, efficiency and cleanliness in the bakery.

EU work permit is essential 🇪🇺

We’re excited to share our Roscón de Reyes with you! We start with a light, pillowy brioche dough, gently scented with orange and cinnamon. Baked with chopped almonds, an almond crumble and amaretto sugar, then finished with candied oranges and lemons and a delicate orange blossoms glaze - our most festive treat yet!

Reservations are now open via the link in our bio. Whilst we have some Roscones available in the shop daily, we recommend reserving yours in advance to avoid disappointment!
