It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas! Adapting my mum's fail safe Christmas cake recipe to make it gluten free 😁. It's a bit controversial as it's alcohol free too, but for those who don't like a heavy fruit cake - it's perfect. It always managed to convert non Christmas cake lovers so I'm hoping this gf version will equally please 🎄✨

Sometimes we all have bad cake days, especially if you're baking gluten free! If you have made too many cakes for your icing ratio or if they haven't turned out how you would have liked them to... Fear not! Extra cake, crumbly cake, rubbery cake (😬), whatever your problem.... There is a solution... The mighty cake pop! 👑

Simply break up your cake and mix it with some of your icing, roll into balls, chill, then dip in chocolate of your choice! Et voila!! 🙌

Seen here, we have left over apple and pecan cake dipped in white chocolate and chocolate and salted caramel dipped in dark chocolate with a sprinkling of sea salt.

You can use a lollipop stick as an extra feature or simply keep them as little bonbons 🍭🍡🍫

They make cute little presents and great for parties 🎉🧁🌺🐃
