This year was another great year at the Thai Food Bazaar 2026. This year, I tried to promote Khanom Krok (Thai coconut pancake), Khanom Ba Bin (Thai coconut cake), coconut ice cream, and various other Thai desserts, mostly OTOP (One Tambon One Product) items. Even the tablecloths were explained in detail to keep customers entertained while they waited for their treats. This can create a different kind of vibrant atmosphere. 70% of our sweets sell out on the first day of the event. Sandstorms, dust storms, tents practically flying – nothing can stop the influx of customers supporting our little ”Khanom Khong Yaai “ booth. Returning customers from the first year we participated in 2024 have followed us every year we’ve been at the Bazaar. This event has given us so much experience, especially working alone, prioritizing, maintaining focus, and solving problems on the spot. Customers don’t want to wait long but still want to buy, but in the end, “I handled it all!” It went smoothly, a happy ending 😘
Conversations were woven together through the small sweets that customers bought, creating warm moments between customers and vendors – hugs and greetings like family.
The joy comes from providing the best and most original product we can find, and customers understanding our “intention.” After four days of accumulated fatigue, the answer is:
I achieved 100% success as planned! Many thanks to Director Chat and the entire team for creating such wonderful activities that helped Thais alleviate homesickness and allowed foreigners to experience the essence of “Thailand” through delicious food.
And last but not least, thanks to all the booth staff who provided such a full range of savory and sweet dishes, making the event so vibrant and enjoyable.
Looking forward to seeing you at the next Thai event❗️
