I want to write a blog post called “Chronicles of Croissants”. It’s not about finding “the best croissant in Berlin”, but about telling a story how croissants are made, which butter is used, which flour is used, whose hands knead them, and what happens with them.
This would be a good start. A brunch addition by . It’s the croissant (I call it “the best”) filled with chilled slices of butter, gooey homemade Kaya Jam, glazed with sticky coconut drizzle and extra salt. To be eaten with two hands.

Granola for sale!
I love granola, and am impressed how hard it still is to find tasty granola. I’ve been making my own for years, and collected great feedback. It’s crispy, crunchy, full of taste, and not too sweet. This summer I’m taking some time off and trying to produce and sell some!
This batch is peanut-coconutty. 90c ingredient cost, I’m selling it for 2€/100g.
Current sizes still available: 120g, 230g, 320g.

Same same but different. Albatross Danish Rye, the dense rye is necessary, a fluffy chewy wheat sourdough just doesn’t do work with a thick slab of the spreadable almond butter. Then some juicy sweet raspberries on top, no need for more sugar. That’s breakfast.

A classic combo. Juicy, seedy Danish Rye from with silky smooth hazelnut butter from and 100 - “how much sugar you like”% chocolate on top, don’t forget some salt.
I eat it for breakfast or dessert.

I came to Munich to watch amazing people be fast, and ended up trying to focus the peanut butter. It’s the light roast, with rock salt and crunches. Tub sized. Recommended. With everything.

New favorite spot when I visit my sister is . Great coffee, friendly people, house bread with butter and salt, cookies, and cinnamon walnut rolls. Let’s come back for a croissant on the weekend.

Fleshy, soft, crunchy, juicy, sweet tomatoes with some dollops of smokey chipotle aioli, and crunchy toasted sourdough fueled for an afternoon of clouds and domes. An accurate flattie, dome of butter and bubbly bouche made the history lesson complete.

Knackfrische, Schrippe, Bolillo, Le Petit Pain, and some Weizenbrötchen. One was sweet, another tasted like mustard. Some sour and stretchy, others homogenously stale. 40c for cardboard, 60c for organic flavorful stretch and crunch, and 130c for awfully dry and flavorless. But don’t worry, there’s many more good ones not pictured.
