Today we took our first round of broilers for processing this AM, which means we will have frozen whole chicken available. We can also do fresh but will need to be ordered and picked up when we bring it home.

There's something magical and peaceful to this trip, mornings are early and so peaceful. We put all of our hearts and time into raising these birds ethically and naturally. So when we hand them off to Brennan Poultry, we know our birds journey will be respectfully handled so that we can honestly bring you the best chicken raised ethically and naturally.

Eggs laid within one week from ethically and loved raised hens, who live their best lives free-ranging in the grass. The chickens primarily free-range but are supplemented with feed and fresh scraps.

Spring time on the farm! Yesterday was full of free-ranging and sunbathing! Today not so much.. that said, we have tons of fresh free-range eggs from chickens who roam the property free (and obviously live their best lives 😉)

$5 dozen or $12 per flat

Once this cold snap leaves the broiler chickens will be on pasture. They don't know it yet, but they're gonna love the fresh grass and warm sunshine.

Who protects our flock!?! Mario does! Mario is our LGC (Large Guardian Cat) and he takes his job very seriously. A few weeks ago, I watched as a hawk attempted to attack some of our chickens and Mario jumped into action! He ran out of nowhere and put himself between the chickens and the hawk.

Some of us joke that the chickens are mom's (mine) or Emmett's, our youngest child but if you ask Mario they are his chickens.
