Hi friends ❤️

We want to sincerely apologize for having to close so abruptly today.

Two power outages in the span of one week is beyond frustrating, but when it happens on one of your busiest days and you’re forced to turn away dozens of customers, it’s incredibly disheartening as a small business.

To all of our wonderful regulars who came by today, we’re so sorry. And to the new faces who stopped in to give us a try for the first time, we’re especially disappointed that we weren’t able to welcome you in and serve you.

To say we’re frustrated would be an understatement. 💔 There’s nothing worse than being ready for a busy day, having everything prepared, and then having something completely out of your control bring it all to a halt.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll be back up and running Tuesday morning and that this will be the last of the power outages in our area for a long, long time!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It truly means the world to us, especially on days like today.

Again, we’re so sorry for the inconvenience.

❤️🦃 HAPPY THANKSGIVING, FRIENDS! 🦃❤️

I meant to write this post yesterday, but honestly, it was SO busy that before I knew it, it was 11 PM and I was wondering where the heck the day went! 😂

First off, THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU! ❤️

We are absolutely blown away by the love and support you showed us this Thanksgiving weekend!

For the FIRST TIME EVER on Thanksgiving weekend, we completely SOLD OUT of desserts! 😭❤️ And that’s saying something because you guys know how much we bake!

Between the mountain of takeout dinner orders, all the baking, and a PACKED restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner last night, we can officially say this was our BUSIEST Thanksgiving to date! 🥹

We had so many of our wonderful regulars join us for dinner, along with some new faces! The fact that you chose to spend part of your Thanksgiving with our family means more than you could ever know.

We’ve been doing this for 49 years, and weekends like this remind us why we keep doing what we do. It’s exhausting, sometimes chaotic, and we’re usually running on caffeine and pure stubbornness 😂 but seeing you all enjoying our homemade food makes every bit of it worthwhile.

And before anyone asks why I’m posting pictures of cookies instead of our Thanksgiving dinners, apparently we were too busy feeding everyone to remember to take pictures! 😂🤣 Seriously, ALL THAT FOOD and this is what I have to show for it! LOL.

Whether you ordered dinner, picked up desserts, joined us in the restaurant, shared a post, or simply told someone about us, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! ❤️

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we are CLOSED today because we are SOOOOOOOO tired! 😂 I think the whole family needs about three days of sleep, but we’ll have to settle for one!

We’ll be back tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM, ready to do it all over again! ☕😂

Well, if you could see the state of us right now… 😂

We’ve been here late every single night this week (except Wednesday because GO JETS GO! 🏒💙), and back at it bright and early this morning!

Are we exhausted? YES.
Are we running on fumes? ABSOLUTELY.
Did we still manage to put together a FULL TABLE of extra desserts for you guys? YOU BET WE DID! 🧁🍰🥧

And would you just LOOK at Marina! 😂❤️ So cute. So tired. 100% worth it! (At least I think that’s what she said… it might’ve been a different word starting with F. LMAO! 🤣)
