After almost 30 months without a kitchen — some of you already know the journey my family has been through, I’m finally back doing what I love most: baking! 💛
What began as a simple dream to build a bigger kitchen turned into a long, painful ordeal.

Our kitchen is complete, I’ve earned my DineSafe certificate and Food Handler’s permit, and Arom-ah is ready to serve Durham again — with vegan, keto, gluten-free, and classic European bakes you’ve always loved.

LATEST UPDATE

The contractor keeps on with his never ending promises. Unfortunately, the way he operates, it looks like I might only have my kitchen back for Christmas 2024.

I apologize for being unable to give a date now, about my reopening.

Never realized how much dishonesty and crookedness existed in this industry.

Meanwhile, my best wishes to all of my clients and followers, for a Holy and Blessed Christmas.

UPDATE

My kitchen renos are still in progress, with our contractor promising to finish the existing portion by Friday, the 24th November.

He has given us several deadlines over these past weeks, which he has not met, and has committed to this date. We shall see.....

I will update again on the 24th, and I hope to be able to bake again for Christmas.
