Pangman Farmers Market — Thank You. ❤️
Yesterday was a great reminder of why I enjoy doing this.
I love baking because I love seeing something come together — putting time, energy, and patience into a recipe and watching it transform into something beautiful, whether it’s a loaf of sourdough, a batch of bagels, or a homemade treat.
The market was filled with talented people who showed up with more than products — they brought their ideas, creativity, hard work, and dreams. Seeing so many small businesses putting their passion into something of their own was truly inspiring.
It was wonderful to be part of Pangman’s 115th anniversary celebration. On May 17, 1911, Pangman officially became a village, and 115 years later, the community came together to celebrate its history, the people who have called Pangman home, and the community they have built over the generations.
With the parade, the train bringing passengers from Ogema, the many booths, and people coming out to support local, it truly felt like a celebration of community.
At the Auntie Marge booth, I brought:
🌾 Round Sourdough — White, Rye & Whole Wheat
🍞 Soft-Crust Sourdough
🥯 Sourdough Bagels
🥯 Sourdough English Muffins
🫐 Scones
🥕 Mini Carrot Cake Loaves
🥥 Coconut Scones
I also put together a little video showing the market, the vendors, my booth, and some behind-the-scenes moments of preparing for the day — from the dough rising to shaping the bagels and getting everything ready.
The train brought passengers from Ogema to Pangman. It’s about a 15-minute drive between the two communities, while the heritage train ride takes about 45 minutes.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported my small business, and took the time to say hello. Every conversation, purchase, and bit of encouragement is truly appreciated.
Thank you again, Pangman. I look forward to seeing everyone at my next farmers market. ❤️
