These Hometown Vanilla cookies were to celebrate an author's new book! The large cookie was hand painted with edible royal icing paint (just like my Paint Your Own cookies, except I did this one!).

I'm excited to be joining Pride in the Park in Kitchener on June 6 as an official vendor!

I'll be bringing decorated cookies, chocolate dipped treats, and 22 different cookie flavours to choose from, including gluten-free and vegan options.

From bright citrus flavours to rich chocolate creations, there will be plenty to choose from.

The cookies may be pretty, but flavour is always the main event. Try a sample and find out!

All of my cookie flavours can be made vegan, gluten free, or with alcohol free vanilla upon request. Normally all special recipe cookies must be ordered by the dozen, but for a limited time as Susie's Sweet Treats gets ready for market season, some flavours will be available as single tasting cookies!

If you'd like to try a flavour and aren't quite ready for a dozen, send me a message to reserve one of these tasting cookies for $7 each.

Currently available:

Gluten free Strawberry Shortcake: rich strawberry cookie with jammy chunks of real strawberry mixed throughout, topped with a thin layer of vanilla icing.

Gluten free Dubai chocolate: deep chocolate cookie, not too sweet, with pieces of pistachio and pistachio icing.

Vegan Coconut Lime: a summery cookie with toasted coconut and lime zest rounded out with vanilla.

These won't last so try one while they're still here!

Father's Day is coming up! Treat that special man in your life to some delicious cookies!

DAD three cookie set, comes packaged in a bakery box with a window, and Father's Day ribbon and gift tag. PAPA or other designs may be available upon request. $15

King of the Grill six cookie set, crown cookie can be personalized upon request. Set comes packaged in a window bakery box with Father's Day ribbon and gift tag. $32

Super Daddio nine cookie set, unfortunately these cookies DO NOT grant powers- you will not become temporarily immortal after eating the star! But you will have a smile on your face. Set comes packaged in a window bakery box with Father's Day ribbon and gift tag. $54

Also offering chocolate dipped pretzels and Oreos this Father's Day (see sample pics from Mother's Day). All Susie's Sweet Treats chocolate dipped items use top quality tempered European chocolate (Ghirardelli or Lindt).

Pretzel rods come in a three piece set with blue dyed chocolate with white drizzle and the letters DAD, finished with a bow and Father's Day gift tag. $8

Chocolate dipped Oreos come in a two pack with your choice of milk or white chocolate dip. $8

Mix and match, two packages of Oreos or pretzel rods for $15.

Build your own mixed box and get a free dipped Oreo! Box included three pretzel rods, the DAD sugar cookie three pack, and a special dipped Oreo three pack with chocolate letters DAD for $30.

This four cookie set comes comes packaged in a bakery box with a window, graduation themed tissue paper, ribbon, and a gift tag so it's all ready to give. Available in Hometown Vanilla for $20, premium or artisanal dough upgrades available upon request. Add a personalized cookie with your graduate's name wearing a tiny grad cap for $6.

Getting ready to decorate some beautiful cookies today.

Everything at Susie’s Sweet Treats is made entirely from scratch, from the cookie dough to every batch of royal icing. I mix, colour, and adjust each icing consistency by hand to get the right flow for outlining, flooding, and details.

Great cookies start long before the decorating begins. Quality ingredients, careful preparation, and a little colour chaos behind the scenes all make a difference.

Upcoming preorders will include sets for Father's Day and for graduation, so if you'll be looking for some delicious treats to celebrate, I've got you covered!
