Summer might be coming to an end but thankfully cookies don't have a season! I'll have some fun fall designs soon as the weather starts to cool off.

You have two chances this week to pick up some sugar cookies in Hometown Vanilla or in some of my delicious flavours, including my two brand new ones Pina Colada and Brown Butter Vanilla Bean!

I'll be at 91 Moore Avenue this afternoon Tuesday September 1 from 3:30-6pm in the Extend-A-Family parking lot with cookies and chocolate dipped treats.

***And in exciting news, you can find me this Saturday September 5 at the St Jacobs Farmers Market!!!***

I don't know yet where my table will be located, but I'll have all your favourite sweet treats ready to celebrate the last long weekend of summer! I'll post a photo Saturday morning to let you all know where to find me.

New treat alert!

Susie's Sweet Treats is now offering *maple* Oreos dipped in dark Ghirardelli chocolate! The dark cocoa flavour is the perfect complement to the sweet maple cookie inside.

Not a maple fan? You can still get the Double Stuf Oreos dipped in white Ghirardelli chocolate with a dark chocolate drizzle. $8 for a two pack, or two packs for $15. Mix and match with my delicious sweet and salty chocolate dipped pretzel 6 pack!

My chocolate dipped items are always made from real tempered chocolate- you can taste the difference between these and the faux "chocolate" found elsewhere.

For my gluten free followers: you'll find gluten free double stuf white chocolate dipped Oreos on my table as well! $10 for a two pack.

September will be a busy month for Susie's Sweet Treats! I'll let you know soon what events I'll be at with my delicious cookies (new flavours!) and chocolate treats.

Today's surprise pop up- mini loaf cakes!

Available for pickup on Friday or Saturday- small batch artisanal 6oz mini loaf cakes.

These are vanilla butter cakes with a tender, moist crumb and fresh Ontario strawberry pieces baked into the batter. Each cake is topped with a rich but not too sweet mascarpone whipped cream and a fresh strawberry garnish.

$8 each or 2/$15. Only ten available and when they're gone, they're gone! Baked by a licensed food handler in an inspected kitchen.

Back to school is coming up soon for the kiddos! Don't forget to bring an apple for the teacher- I hear they like this kind best!

Remember these beautiful Aperol Spritz cookies I made in the summer for a bridal shower? I was so happy to hear that my cookies were enjoyed enough that they came back for more for a joint bachelorette party.

They got a great selection of flavours in this custom order- Brown Butter Vanilla Bean, unbirthday Confetti, and gluten free Strawberry Shortcake.

When you work with a small business, you are getting personalized service that you just can't get anywhere else.

Many of you have asked for a cookie that is both vegan and gluten free. As I have said- I'm always happy to bake a custom order by the dozen in the flavour of your choice. But I understand that people don't always want a dozen cookies. Sometimes you just want to stop by when I'm at a market and pick up a delicious treat for yourself or someone you love.

Susie's Sweet Treats now offers a vegan and gluten free cookie in Limoncello Kiss. Baked with Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour and Becel plant butter, this cookie still has the fresh lemon zest and rich freeze dried fruit taste that you'd expect from an artisan bakery. It's not just good for a vegan or gluten free cookie- it's a good cookie.

Try one cookie for $7 in this design. Vegan and gluten free custom orders can be booked by the dozen starting at $54.

All vegan and gluten free cookies are baked in an inspected commercial kitchen that also uses wheat and dairy, but is thoroughly sanitized before preparation.

New Flavour Alert!!

You've all tried my Hometown Vanilla cookies- it's my number one most requested flavour. It's the furthest thing from "plain vanilla", and it's not going anywhere. Hometown Vanilla will always be available!

But there's a new vanilla on the block for a limited time as a Premium flavour- my Brown Butter Vanilla Bean.

European butter is gently browned to bring out the rich caramel notes and introduce a toasty flavour. This cookie is sweet and delicious, with flecks of vanilla bean visible all through the dough.

New flavour alert!

What's tangy, fresh, and tastes like summer? My Pina Colada cookies, of course!

With warm toasted coconut, chunks of pineapple with just a hint of that fresh acidity, and finished with royal icing made with real spiced rum- this cookie will have you imagining beaches and cocktails with little umbrellas in them.

Perfectly balanced and delicious- Pina Colada is sure to find a place in your next mix n match box.

You've seen my giant brown butter chocolate chip cookie cakes, but you haven't seen this upgrade!

If you aren't a cake fan but want something special for a celebration, Susie's Sweet Treats is now offering two layer filled cookie cakes!

These numbers measure approximately 10" by 8" and are over 5" tall. Made with the same rich brown butter you've tried before, filled and decorated with your choice of vanilla or chocolate buttercream. My chocolate buttercream isn't just made with cocoa- I add real Ghirardelli chocolate to my homemade buttercream to add more depth and richness.

All cookie cakes are customized to order. Price will vary depending on icing and design.
