RECIPE DROP | HOMEMADE HAMBURGER HELPER | I love anything I can make with one pot/pan. This came out really quick and tasty and makes 4 servings.

454 g grass fed lean ground beef
2 cups 🧀
1 tbsp Hot sauce
1 tbsp Grainy mustard
1 shallot
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1.5 cups pasta (dealer’s choice)

METHOD
Cook ground beef through, drain and add back to pan with the seasonings and shallot. Once we’ll mixed add 3 c water into the pan and add the pasta - simmer 10-15 minutes. Turn off heat once the pasta is cooked through and fold in cheese. It’s that easy. Enjoy!

BTS | Running multiple vendors with varying needs is definitely requires a certain level of patience and organization. But the experience for the customer is well worth it. This review comes at the request of many followers and I am happy to oblige.

THE RUNDOWN:
Raw milk
Grass fed
Vegetarian Friendly

TASTING NOTES:
It’s right on the line of medium to sharp and it’s assertive but not aggressive. Its finish and texture are what sets it apart from a classic cheddar. Tyrosine crystals throughout create a nice but unusual “chewiness” up against a very smooth paste otherwise. The finish has an almost washed cheese or wine aftertaste that I was surprised by and enjoyed. It’s been a very long time since I’ve tried it and I’m glad that I picked one up. I’m going to test it today and see how it melts into pasta and grilled cheese.

REVIEW | I had a “Gouda” time eating this breakfast sandwich. The sandwich gets zero complaints from me. Nice soft scrambled egg with a mild/medium Gouda folded into it. I love super rich flavours so the cheese here added a great textural quality you can only get from a cheese/egg blend but for me I couldn’t get that Gouda flavour. Fresh spinach, crispy bacon on a thin panini’d bread. Basic done in the best way possible.
8/10 - would get again.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES | I recently participated in an event held . I got to represent 3 local products at my table.

I use sampling as a platform to provide information on mostly local, artisanal products - but I do make an exception from time to time as long as our principles align. I give out information but I’m also collecting it. I believe that this work has real value and I sacrifice all my weekends and holidays. I have a phenomenal team and clients I respect and appreciate. THE PERFECT BITE |
Breakfast is the meal I put the most effort into. No runny yolk today because I would like to say I didn’t want to risk ruining the Japanese Print, but rather I forgot about it 😬.
Sweetness from the apple cinnamon liege waffle, salty, savoury and of course cheesy - chives for good measure.
Just another way to utilize cheese you have in the fridge. I used Boerenkaas from (aged 6-8 months) but you can use whatever you like.

MANDOLIN | The cheese not the musical instrument.
This raw goats milk cheese is young in age and at heart. 2-3 months gives it enough time to think about what it wants to be; but not quite enough to assert itself aggressively in flavour or texture. Personality development yes, character flaws and serious attributes - not yet. Loosely fashioned after Fleur de Maquis it is covered in rosemary and thyme and is much more passive than its inspiration - in a good way.
AROMA - past the herbs it’s ye**ty and earthy.
TASTING NOTES - sour, citrus and milky with a great full mouthfeel.
