A round of cocktails with personalized recommendations by our server Penny, beef tartare, frog legs, feature sheet tomato salad, hamachi crudo, pasta for Rachel, strip loin with double order of fries with house made mayo (we always get double fries, they’ll get eaten). Not pictured: Brussels sprout salad, and lovely bottle of red, and a sweet little birthday treat.

Two winners will be selected, and each winner will receive one family pass covering admission for 2 adults + 4 kids ages 12–18 (kids under 12 are free).

Back in Vancouver for its 2nd year, the Gluten Free Expo features daily speakers, cooking demos, and education around celiac disease, gluten sensitivity and gluten-free living. The first 75 people in line on Day 1 get a loot bag!

Splash is back! From Sept. 8 to Oct. 1, the Pendulum Gallery hosts a free public preview of the Splash 2026 Art Auction Collection — nearly 100 one-of-a-kind works donated by acclaimed and emerging Canadian and international artists.

Get up close with the art before it hits the block at the 44th annual Splash Art Auction on Oct. 3 (Canada’s largest charitable art auction), and place your bids online ahead of the live event. This year's featured artists include Andrew Dadson, Marie Khouri, Don Yeomans, Moses Salihou, Edward Burtynsky, Greg Girard, among many others.

Proceeds support arts education for young people ages 2–22 through Arts Umbrella, helping nearly 80% of students access its programs at no cost.

Cozy little dinner FOBO 🍷 🇫🇷

Crudo (white fish, sliced radish): $24
Steak Frite (Sauce au poivre, Montreal butter): $38
(We had one with fries, one with salad for balance)

We’ll be back to try more yummy things from the menu! Had to go with staples this time.
