Welcome to Q***r Dough. I am Hayf, a Lebanese-Palestinian queerdo living as an uninvited guest on Coast Salish Territories. Family is why I started baking. I love spending time in my kitchen because of these three. That is, when we’re not rushing out the door to get to where we’re headed. Whether with a gaggle of kids singing Happy Birthday, tucked around a small table with our oldest friends, or

at an auntie’s house listening to Fairuz, we gather, we eat, and we love fearlessly. I learned that adding something delicious to the ordinary day makes everyone around me happy. And that is simply the best. Baking gives us something to gather around. This is Q***r Dough. My baking project of love.
