Back in March, Wayeshkad approached me to see if I would be interested in catering meals for hunting groups visiting from Sweden. After giving it some thought, I decided to take on the opportunity. What I didn't fully think through was the timing! 😂
The catering started on my birthday, May 27th, and wrapped up today. Anyone who knows me knows that once Friends of Bon Echo Park opens, my workload increases significantly and this year was no exception! Alongside preparing dinners for these hunting groups, I was also baking for my storefront, Milligan Meats , and friends of Bon Echo.
Despite the long days, this has been such a rewarding experience. It was truly an honor to serve these hunters a home cooked dinner every evening. My plate was definitely full, but so was my heart knowing I was able to take one thing off their plate and save them from having to cook after a long day.
I am incredibly grateful to Wayeshkad for giving me this opportunity and trusting me with such an important part of their guests' experience. It has been a wonderful partnership, and I truly appreciate the chance to be involved.
A huge thank you to all of my wonderful customers for your patience and support over the past two weeks. Your understanding has meant so much while I balanced everything.
I'm also excited to share that the group has already asked me to cater for them again next year because they thoroughly enjoyed the meals and desserts!
