Cupcakes, macarons, & glitter! Just a lil throwback to these glammed up cupcakes that I made in June.. they were chocolate cupcakes with cookie butter swiss meringue buttercream 🤩

Back with another Mini Cake Monday!

This lil guy is another recycled cake, it’s probably on it’s 6th design! This buttercream piping technique is a great way to use up any leftovers and it’s pretty much fail proof.

Full transparency I edited the heck out of this photo! 😭 The day I took photos it was full grey clouds and gloom 🌫🌧.. sometimes thats the reality! Its also sometimes hard to capture white details on a teeny tiny cake 🙈

This is also the 2nd cake out of the mini trio! 3.5” with 2 layers of vanilla cake with vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream.

It’s your birthday so make it a big (or mini) deal!! Surprise yourself with a mini cake - the perfect tier size for any celebration.

This is just one cake out of a mini trio I made - can’t wait to show them all together! i’m just loving this simple palette knife technique!

This is 3.5” round with 2 layers of cake! I used my Sweet Afternoon 3” acrylic discs to size the layers then the 3.5” to fill and frost.

Since were still in lockdown it’s totally acceptable to eat a whole cake by yourself right!?

If you need another reason to buy a Cricut..this is it! Endless possibilities of making your own cake toppers. I don’t work with fondant so this is a great way to still get all those details for a themed cake!

Mini Monday but make it mini donuts!

Had to make some matching donuts to go with the Halloween cake in my last post! Not your traditional yeast donut (havent been brave enough to make those yet!) These are made with cake batter that are baked in a mini donut pan. Super fun to make and to eat!

Which do you prefer..traditional yeast donuts or cake donuts? I feel like as an adult I have been leaning towards the old fashions but I love a good bostom cream 🍩

Happy Halloween!!

This cake may not be a very traditional spooky, scary, gory, or “Halloween-y” but these colors definitely remind me of Halloween! This is my contribution to the hosted by

I went with a mini 3.5” square cake and layered on the different colors then of course, added some gold touches. This actually reminds me of the sand art we used to make in school - anyone else? Haha.
