Mary Macleod's Shortbread Mary Macleod’s Shortbread was founded in 1981. Her shortbread was an instant hit and after 35 years it’s still a Toronto favourite.

She began baking her signature Chocolate Crunch from a small shop under the marquee of the Capitol Theatre in Toronto.
