Yes I have been MIA.
Motherhood is a hectic journey.
But I have learned a lot this year. I learned what I am capable of accomplishment as well as my worth.

I also started focusing on the health of my little family.
Cooking is my escape. So I put all my energy into developing meals for my little guys. Using only the best ingredients to nourish their little minds and body.
This is chickpea pasta with grilled veggies and fresh basil finished with a cottage cheese sauce.
The cookies are delicious. Oatmeal and zucchini, and of course chocolate chip cookies hidden with flaxseed.

I want nothing more for my boys to understand how lucky we all are to be able to have food and use this opportunity to stay healthy but also remember those who are less fortunate.
