I have so much new work to share and I’m so excited! This one’s been sitting in drafts for a minute just waiting for me to press post.

I have to say, if you’re looking for a a beautiful place to host a private garden party wedding Noisy Acres Garden Estates is pretty spectacular. Everything is so lush and green plus they have so many incredible spaces for all the different elements of your day.

It was such an honour to capture A + C’s wedding day. Being trusted with your most cherished memories is something I always value and I love making your photo dreams come true 🤍

How did I luck out with such amazing couples!? Truly, so wonderful 🥹

And speaking of wonderful couples, lately I’ve welcomed some pretty special people to my 2027 wedding season which I’m already so excited about!

I get asked so many questions about my job 😁

From my friends and family to wedding guests and couples getting married.

Sometimes it’s assumed I miss out on summer but it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Yes, most of my weekends see at least one wedding but I also get the freedom of creating my own schedule, taking time off when it works for us and building memories outside of Saturdays.

Evening beach picnics, Sundays at the lake, all the farmers markets, camping & hiking are all things I prioritize making time for along with all of my wedding season work. Does it come with sacrifice? Of course. But I plan my calendar 2 years in advance and I’ve learned along the way what works for us. I try to take off some long weekends. I never shoot more than 4 weekends in a row, and I book off time around my wedding anniversary every year. Plus I have an incredible supportive husband who is amazing at running the show when we both can’t be there 🥰

PLUS, I absolutely love my job and it rarely feels like work. I get excited for every wedding, session and client call. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do.

A life of passion, on my terms. Working with incredible people and bringing them beautiful memories of their best days. I really can’t think of anything better.

An absolutely breathtaking wedding at Tigh Na Mara Resort over the long weekend 🤍

These two put so much into planning their day and hand picked their team to bring the dream to life and- wow. It came together stunningly 🥹

V + S knew photos were a super important part of their day and communicated that from the start. They wanted the celebration captured authentically but they also wanted show stopping, life long memories.

Challenge accepted ✔️ ⭐️

Incase you didn’t know, I’m beyond passionate about what I do and I love putting things together for every couples vision. It’s truly such an honour. Knowing these two had big dreams, I was so excited to share alongside them.

This season has been full of so many incredible moments including this beautiful helicopter mountain wedding session mountain⛰️

These two lovely humans chose to have a big adventure a few days before they celebrated their wedding with their loved ones, having travelled here all the way from Montreal.

Up in the mountains on a stunning Wednesday evening, they had their first look, explored and popped champagne. It was a breathtaking experience with memories to last a lifetime.

A wedding, a marriage is one of life’s biggest celebrations and I love that these two had not one, but two amazing days of making the most of it.

Life is one grand adventure, I’m here for capturing it 🤍

Honestly, where do I even begin with these two? 🥹

They are such kind, warm and genuine people- I loved them instantly. Their day was planned beautifully from getting ready and first looks near the ocean to their incredible ceremony and reception venue at Noisy Acres. The fact that everything took place in Yellow Point (my own backyard) made it even more special. I can’t count the number of times I ran past their venues dreaming of their day.

Also… a moment for the dress! Are you kidding me? Stunninggg. It was clear from the start how much love these two had and how their people showered them with kind words and affection that they were two special human beings.

From getting ready, first looks and all the way to the dance floor- this day was everything and more.

I’m actually not one to cry all that often, but the thank you these two said to me during their newlywed speech at their reception was too much! Those moments mean so much to someone whose career is based on their passion.

This is really just a tidbit of their amazing day and once again I’m so honoured to have been there for this incredibly special day 🤍

When golden hour isn’t so golden 👀

If you ask me- still totally worth it 👏

For starters, you can reduce the time you take earlier in the day for your portraits by adding on a golden hour moment which lends to an easier timeline.

The BIGGEST plus is that wedding days are busy. It’s just the truth and honestly this part of the day is a breath of fresh air. You’ve said I-do’s, you’ve had dinner (and maybe a drink or two) and you’re relaxed 😌

You get to steal away together for a time to soak it all in. Often with the best light of the day, whether it’s cloudy or not ✌️

Let’s frolic in a field or cozy up by the water. Whatever it is, I’m here for it- forever and always 🤍

This gorgeous, family centred and intimate wedding at Tigh Na Mara was so wonderful in so many ways. I’ve always thought there was something so special about having your kids as part of your wedding day 🤍 the memories become even more meaningful, the vows have so much depth and you’ve already been immersed in parenthood which brings so much to life 🥹

This lovely couple had the best celebration and were total stars as the parents of two little ones (and soon to be three!) it’s such an honour to be trusted with your life long memories and it’s something I’ll truly never, ever get over.

I truly don’t have words for how spectacular this Salt Spring Island wedding was 🫶 J + S were so full of love, so calm, present and ready to live their most special day to the fullest. It was such a pleasure to be there to capture it 🥹

The day threatened rain but it held off until late in the evening and the soft overcast glow and warm temps remained for their day.

This stunning bride got ready in the beautiful residence at the farm before we ran off for their first look at the ocean down the road. As soon as I got them out to the rocks the waves started to do their thing and it was overall magic 🪄 and the best way to kick things off.

This is merely but a TASTE of the incredible day that we captured. I’m beyond grateful to be there to document so many amazing memories for so many amazing couples this and every wedding season🤍

Cheers to these two and their biggest life adventure yet as Mr & Mrs 🥂
