I'm trying something new. Par-baked caramel pecans. That's right, the good stuff's on the bottom.
I'm curious to know if I can freeze them partially baked, thaw them and finish them in the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes, then flip them and have the caramel ooze down. That's my hope anyway.
Ill keep you posted on the outcome.

Sourdough gouda, cheddar, parmesan and chive rolls. Oh my!
It was a long process that started on Sunday. The dough was cold fermented till this morning, then filled with a blend of gouda, white cheddar, parmesan and chives and rolled.

I created a chocolate sourdough starter last night to make a chocolate walnut sourdough loaf. The process takes about 48 hours, its slow, but it'll be worth it.
Ill post the finished product tomorrow.
Can't wait 😊😋

**replaced the walnuts with pecans and will be adding dark chocolate chunks**
