I had the privilege of making the cupcakes for our wonderful niece and her new husband. She asked for a uniform display of simple, off-white rosettes. It was a beautiful day ❤️

I loved making these western themed cupcakes for an engagement party! The colors were perfect paired with my homemade chocolates 😊 I especially liked the His/Hers jumbo cupcake!

It's been a LONG time since I made anything worth posting but a co-worker of Richard's asked if I could make his birthday cake and I just couldn't say no. It's not what I envisioned but I'm happy with how it came out. It's a 2 layer vanilla cake with blueberry buttercream (blue icing) and raspberry buttercream to hold all the berries in place.

Side note: square cakes are so much harder than rounds!

Here are the rainbow cupcakes i made for Emily's extended family birthday party. Started them at midnight so decided to "wing it". They turned out pretty cool!!

So I decided to make a 6" cake for Emily's birthday. She decided it needed to be
- 4 layers
- rainbow cake (yellow, blue, purple & pink cake layers)
- pink and purple icing
And then her last minute decision
"Mom it should be a unicorn cake!!"
So.... Here's my first ever 4 layered - rainbow - unicorn cake. Why not try 3 new things all at the same time?! 🤣

Used my family as guinea pigs yesterday for some new flavors 😂 A chocolate/coffee buttercream for the cake and then chocolate and vanilla buttercream for the cupcakes. They were a huge hit! Will definitely be doing this combo again! Not to mention that the chocolate cake itself was absolutely to die for 🤤

"Thank you" cupcakes I made for both our wonderful neighbors in appreciation for doing some of our chores while we were away this past weekend. I loved the colors but my buttercream has been really soft lately. I think the temperature of our house is messing with the consistency.
