Good afternoon, everyone! Justin here with my sidekick, aka Aala! For those who were fortunate enough to meet her yesterday, I'm sure everyone did, and for those that haven't, I highly encourage you to meet her! She's a Labradoodle with a mission. She's actually my service dog, trained to alert me of my diabetic lows and to find someone if I'm not responsive. You may have noticed that she does stay off leash, for that reason. She would never dare bite anyone, but if you start playing with her, even i can't save you from all the joy and excitement she brings! I am planning to get her certified as a therapy dog as well because of her love for people and children included! She will sit in front of you if you have food and it's OK to give her bits and pieces but keep in mind, her Lab nature didn't program her to have a, "I'm full" mentality, so she does act like she's starving.
Yesterday was pretty busy for myself but thank you to everyone that put up with her, especially the children that kept her occupied. Hopefully, she kept them all within the property and not wonder onto the street. She knows not to go on the street unless instructed. Never feel shy to say hi or play with her, especially if you need a break from your busy lives! If you're scared of dogs, let me know in some way or somehow and hopefully we can work something out so that you could meet her and learn to trust her. I will always be there until you're comfortable with her. Btw, she does bark occasionally when she too excited because she's literally trying to talk to you. To make more sense of it, think of what you were doing and that may help you interpret what she wants. Most likely it's to play more and once again, she would never bite you. If she does use her mouth, just like any other dog, you have to remember that dogs don't have hands and their mouth is the only way to grab or hold something. Saying "Oww" in a concerned way would make her let go and stop immediately because she's knows she did something that accidently hurt you. She will then proceed to "kiss" you as her way of saying sorry. 😏 Thank you to everyone for dropping by and trying out my mayonnaise!
