Help Wanted: Friendly Senior Bartender & Server (Italian Community Centre)

Our local Italian community centre is looking for a warm, reliable senior to join our team! If you enjoy meeting people, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and being part of a vibrant cultural hub, we’d love to hear from you.

Position: Bartender & Server
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Extras: Opportunities to work special events, celebrations, and community gatherings

What You’ll Do:

Serve beverages (coffee, soft drinks, and light bar service)
Assist with lunch service from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Create a friendly, welcoming environment for members and guests
Help set up and tidy service areas
Support special events as needed

What We’re Looking For:

A positive, people-oriented attitude
Reliability and punctuality
Previous serving or bartending experience is an asset (but not required)
Comfort working in a community-focused, social environment

We are now accepting nominations for both, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! Please submit as soon as possible.
Reservations are now open! Walk-ins are welcome!

Mother’s Day Awards are on Sat, May 9th 7pm and Father’s Day Awards are on Sat, June 20th 7pm! For each event, $6000 Super Jackpot must go ($2000 for 3 winners). 2 Lines $1000.00.

Each nominee will receive a gift. Nominate your mom, or any mom, and we will celebrate her by featuring your story during the event! Nominate your dad, or any dad, and we will celebrate him by featuring your story during the event!

Please submit as soon as possible! Please submit your text, photos and/or video via USB stick (which will be returned to you), text message by phone and/or email attachment. Submission deadline: May 8th, 2026 for Mother’s Day and June 19th for Father’s Day. Please email to [email protected]

Centro Abruzzese Canadese is proud to announce that we have two new logos!
The first image is the logo for all of our official documents while the second is our internal logo which will be on the Casa Abruzzo place mats and within Friday special announcements.

The first logo was designed by Angelo Filoso. The second logo was drawn by Alessia Di Paolo.

Il Centro Abruzzese Canadese è lieto di annunciare due nuovi loghi! La prima immagine è il logo per tutti i nostri documenti ufficiali, mentre la seconda è il nostro logo interno che verrà utilizzato sulle tovagliette di Casa Abruzzo e negli annunci speciali del Venerdì.
