Baby Beau, On The Way 🦒🐘

The giraffe had the hardest job of the set — a lot of neck, not a lot of canvas — and still came out looking composed. Everyone else had it easier: elephants got room to roam, the hot air balloons had the whole sky, and the bow just had to sit there looking pretty.

All done in that soft, ink-wash blue that makes an announcement feel more like an heirloom.

Here's to Baby Beau — may his life be filled with as much adventure as this little safari promises.

Year three of cookies for Mav! Rescue mission: Birthday edition…

The trend so far is no repeats. Safari animals kicked things off, Toy Story followed, and this year it's a full Paw Patrol crew taking over the cooling rack.

Quality control note: 7 pups, 1 set of paws, and it belongs to the one nobody suspected. Sweetie's out here doing the most while Chase, Skye, and the rest phone it in from the neck up. Rubble, for his part, didn't even pose for a closeup — just showed up mid-frame and let everyone else do the talking.

Happy 4th, Mav — here's to a year where no adventure's too big and no nap's too short.

A small society of impeccably dressed bears.

We've got one in a varsity jacket, one heading off to play polo (horse included, because a polo bear on foot is just a bear in odd trousers), one running errands in a striped rugby pullover, and one barista bear who appears to have a more stable career than most people I know.

Collectively better dressed than this entire studio.

🐻Everything but the baby🐻

This custom baby shower set has the onesies, the bottles, the rattles, the teddy bears, and "Baby Loading…" cookies that's frankly more informative than most group chats.

There's a sleepy bear on a rattle, a whole drawer's worth of tiny pyjamas, milk bottles with little teddy prints, and an "oh baby" or two for the people who prefer their announcements in cursive.

Soft browns, creams, and not a single bright colour in sight — the kind of neutral palette that looks effortless and absolutely was not. Every piece is custom: your shapes, your colours, your wording, built to match your shower whatever the scheme.

Almost too coordinated to eat. Almost…

And yes, the photos on a dramatic angle. When the cookies look this good, you shoot them like a magazine spread and let the depth of field do the talking. (We are aware they are, in fact, lying flat on a table.)

You order, we bake, you tell the internet it was worth it — and now there's a whole page for exactly that. Name, a star rating, a sentence or two, done. Takes a minute, means the world, and helps the next person stop deliberating and just place the order already.

If we've baked for your wedding, your office, your kid's birthday, or an occasion you'd rather not specify, we'd love to hear about it. ⭐CUSTOM PRINTED CHOCOLATE GEMS⭐

Full colour on the white ones, crisp black on the coloured ones, and — because once is apparently not enough — printed on both sides.

Maple leaf on the front, Happy Canada Day on the back, or whatever design you'd like doubled up. Detailed enough that someone will turn one over just to check the second side is real. (It is.) Patriotic enough that eating one feels like a small civic duty.

Timely, too: Canada beat South Africa 1–0 yesterday, so this week the maple leaf is doing double duty as a victory lap. As a South African running a bakery in Canada, I have decided to be gracious about it.

All printed by Eddie, our edible printer and most reliable employee — no breaks, no raises, no opinions, no sense of national pride, just output. He handled 250 maple leaves without complaint, a clogged nozzle, or a single passive-aggressive remark about overtime, and prints both sides without being asked twice — a standard the rest of us are still working toward.
