When you’re running a food business, there’s always something to do like orders to prep & bake, customers waiting, deadlines to meet.

And in the middle of all that, I’m always thinking about one thing: making sure everything that leaves my kitchen is something I’m proud of.

So imagine my heartbreak when this happened. 😭 I was in the middle of production, trying to keep up with orders and make sure everything came out just right. I lost track for a moment and this was the result…burnt Samosas or burnt offering like my daughter said 😢😢😢😢

My brain went into overdrive and thought about the ingredients wasted, time spent, order that still needed to be completed… But one thing I knew for sure: I wasn’t sending these out.

Mistakes happen. Things don’t always go according to plan. But Nigerian Pastries and Grills in Oakville, we believe our customers deserve our best, every single time❤️ and sometimes, giving your best means starting all over again!!!! And we did just that 💪💪💪💪
