This Eid feels different.

As muslims around the globe celebrate Eid today, there are others who are mourning their family members.

This Eid our hearts and minds are with people of Palestine, Afghanistan and all the oppressed around the world. We cannot stand as a silent witness to children being bombed and orphaned.

I made these cookies thinking of all the hardship Palestinians have to go through and thinking of all the souls that departed last week.

May Allah protect and bless them and grant them their freedom and protection from oppressors.
