Sweet Dreamz Spreadz & Events — Business Policies

To ensure every event receives the quality, care, and attention it deserves, please review our policies below, effective immediately:

• Booking & Deposits: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. Your remaining balance must be paid in full 1 week prior to your event date. Your booking is not considered confirmed until the deposit is received. If it is not an event/ just a custom order a 50% deposit of your order total is required

• Pricing Adjustments: Prices are based on current food and supply costs at the time of booking. Due to rising costs, any increases from suppliers may result in adjustments to your final invoice, even for previously booked events. We will always provide notice of any changes.

• Late Pickups: Timely pickups are important to maintain the quality and freshness of your order. A $25 late pickup fee will apply for pickups more than 15 minutes past the scheduled time unless prior arrangements have been made.

• Cancellations & Changes: Changes to guest counts, menu selections, or event details must be made as early as possible and may affect pricing and availability.

• Quality Commitment: We take pride in creating beautiful, fresh, and memorable food experiences. Every order is prepared with care, and we appreciate your understanding as a small business working hard to provide the best quality possible.

To my amazing clients,

I wanted to share a quick update regarding my catering and grazing services.

Over the past while, the cost of groceries and supplies has increased significantly. I’ve done my absolute best to absorb these increases because I truly believe everyone deserves beautiful, high-quality food displays at an affordable price. Unfortunately, the rising cost of ingredients has reached a point where my current pricing no longer reflects the true cost of providing the quality and service I pride myself on.

Because of this, there will be a small price adjustment moving forward. If you currently have an event booked with me, I kindly ask that you reach out so we can go over your booking and provide an updated quote based on current food costs.

I know price increases are never ideal, and this wasn’t a decision I made lightly. My goal has always been to provide beautiful, fresh, high-quality grazing experiences while keeping my business sustainable so I can continue serving this amazing community for years to come.

Hi everyone! With so many new faces here, I thought I’d reintroduce myself.

I’m Zoey, the owner behind Sweet Dreamz Spreadz & Events and someone who runs on a lot of coffee 😅

A few facts about me:
🤍 My cooking segment was featured on CTV News
🤍 Top 3 Caterer’s in Pictou County in the 2026 Canadian Choice Awards
🤍 Creator of “Cupcakes4Kids” project, providing birthday treats and essentials for families who need a little extra support
🤍A Support Worker who shows up in the moments that matter most, helping youth feel safe, understood and grow

This journey hasn’t been easy. While I was starting up this business two years ago, I was doing night classes/in school, working two jobs, raising a child and trying to grow my business to be successful. There were a lot of late nights, setbacks, and moments where I had to keep going even when it felt impossible. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that growth doesn’t come easy but it does come if you keep showing up for yourself & follow your dreams!

✨ 2 buttery croissants stuffed with homemade whipped cream, fresh-cut strawberries & powdered sugar
