When it comes to buttercream, what's your favourite? 🤔
I'm sure we've heard about the famous swiss meringue buttercream, so why not dive into the scientific part of the story and get some knowledge
One thing I like about this one is the fact that it's not extra sweet like American buttercream, and the silky smoothness just takes the taste of the dessert to another dimension 💯
How will this not bring happiness into your life
You know what they say right, happy people take their happiness seriously 😊

What are we going with today? Of course some banana bread!! ☺️
Super easy to do, no fancy standing mixer needed, a mixing bowl, a fork to mashed the banana
Un top of that you can style the recipe by throwing in some dried raisins, chocolate chips...
But I went with some lemon zest though 💯
Should we add some frosting to it next time? 🤤

How often do you drink coffee? Personally I don't, unless it's in a dessert 💯
How do we do that? By baking a Swiss meringue passion fruit coffee cake 😉
Truth be told, coffee cake is one the delicious cakes that gets away with being acceptable to have a bite at any time of the day

I always had a hard time accomplishing a dark macaron until I saw that the secret was black Cocoa powder
When it comes to making black buttercream, macarons or cake, people usually struggle to achieve the color and often end up with a grayish colour due to the combination of the white meringue and black food gel colouring
But the key ingredient is black Cocoa powder and I just came across it recently 💯
This been said, what do you think we should bake for Valentine's day? 😊

We wanted to do a dessert that was unique in both the design and the taste. So we decided to work with some apples that were collected at a Farmers' market. Not only did they enhance the overall flavor, some apples were also dried in the oven and used for decoration.👌

When I started this cake, I faced a major challenge, how do you achieve black buttercream without it becoming gray? 🤔
And that's when I saw that the secret ingredients were dark cocoa powder and black gel food coloring 💯
You want to know what was my favourite part in the process?
Adding the gold touch on the edges!😆
